Declaring Land to be Acquired for Road Diversion in the City of Christchurch, Subject (as to part) to Certain Easements

PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development declares that, sufficient agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for road diversion and shall vest in The Christchurch City Council on the 10th day of January 1985, subject as to the land firstly described in the Schedule hereto to a right to drain sewage in gross granted by transfer 46940/1, Canterbury Land Registry, and subject as to the land secondly described in the Schedule hereto to a right to drain water in gross granted by transfer 97514/1, Canterbury Land Registry.

Land Declared to be Road and Road Stopped in Block II, Dart Survey District, Lake County

PURSUANT to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto to be road and vested in The Lake County Council;

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117 declares the parts of road described in the Second Schedule hereto to be stopped and declares that:

(i) The areas marked ‘D’ and ‘E’ on S.O. Plan 20762, ‘B’ on S.O. Plan 20763, ‘D’ and ‘E’ on S.O. Plan 20764 and ‘B’ on S.O. Plan 20916 shall vest in Lloyd James Veint of Glenorchy, farmer, subject to memoranda of mortgage 584915, 289049, 539147/2, 578297 and electricity agreement 339566.

(ii) The area marked ‘C’ on S.O. Plan 20763, shall be dealt with as Crown land under the Land Act 1948.
