Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of an urupa for the common use and benefit of the descendants of Patuone Hohia, Eru Nehua Byers and others and to be named Otupaopao.

Declaring Road Acquired for Railway Purposes at Waterloo

Pursuant to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981, section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and all other powers enabling under that Act, the General Manager of the New Zealand Railways Corporation hereby declares that an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for and on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen for railway purposes.

Declaring Railway Land at Waterloo to be Road

Pursuant to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 114 of the Public Works Act 1981, the General Manager of the New Zealand Railways Corporation with the prior written consent of the Minister of Railways hereby declares as road and vests in the Lower Hutt City Council the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Amending a Notice Declaring Land Taken for Railway Purposes Between Mararoa Junction and Mossburn (Mossburn Branch Railway) and Not Now Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT—WALLACE COUNTY

Pursuant to section 10 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, the General Manager of the New Zealand Railways Corporation hereby amends the notice dated 2nd day of August 1984 and published in Gazette, 9 August 1984, No. 139, page 3102 by deleting from the Schedule thereto the words "Town of Elbow, part Gazette" in 3 places where these words appear and substituting in their place the words "Holmesdale Village described as Town of Elbow in part Gazette".
