PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for soil conservation and river control purposes and shall vest in The Wellington Regional Council on the 14th day of June 1984.

Declaring Land and the Leasehold Estate in Land Acquired for Irrigation Purposes in the Silverpeaks County

PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that sufficient agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for irrigation purposes and shall vest in the Crown and the leasehold estate in the land described firstly, secondly and thirdly in the Second Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by John Charles Frederick James under and by virtue of Pastoral Lease No. 276 recorded in certificate of title No. A2/1198 and the leasehold estate in the land described fourthly in the Second Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Hopefield Investments Limited under and by virtue of Pastoral Lease No. 297 recorded in certificate of title No. 1C/941, is hereby acquired for irrigation purposes and shall vest in the Crown on the 14th day of June 1984.
