Vesting a Reserve in the Kiwitca County Council

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby vests the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, in the Kiwitca County Council, in trust for the purposes of a recreation reserve.

Notice as Required by the Gas Act 1982 of Franchises Granted

Pursuant to section 24 (7) of the Gas Act 1982 a description of the area of the franchise granted under that section for the supply of gas is hereby published:

The Natural Gas Corporation of New Zealand Limited

All those areas, excluding the franchise area of the Hawera Gas Company, in the counties of Inglewood, Egmont, Eltham and Waimate East and parts of the Counties of Stratford, Patea and the Hawera District as described below.

The County of Patea south of a straight line from the eastern boundary to the western boundary intersecting the towns of Paparangi and Meremere; the area of Stratford County south of a straight line from the eastern boundary to the western boundary in a straight line intersecting the towns of Matau and Makahu.

State Forest Land Set Apart as a Dedicated Area—Haohaonui Waihītapu Historical Area—Auckland Conservancy

Pursuant to section 15 of the Forests Act 1949 (as inserted by section 2 of the Forests Amendment Act 1973, and amended by section 5 of the Forests Amendment Act 1976), the Minister of Forests hereby gives notice that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart and dedicated for geological, archaeological, historical and cultural purposes. The Waipoua State Forest land so dedicated shall be known as the Haohaonui Waihītapu Historical Area.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, the Minister of Lands, hereby revokes the reservation as a recreation reserve over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Rotorua District Council in such manner, at such price and on such terms and conditions as the Council shall determine, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into Council's reserves account, such monies to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the Council or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waiheke County) Notice No. 1, 1984.

The area and roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be limited speed zones pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.
