NEW ZEALAND WOOL BOARD

PURSUANT to regulation 15 of the Wool Industry Regulations 1978, notice is hereby given that the Adjusted Weighted Average Sale Price for the sale held on the 29th day of March 1984 at Wellington was 291.91 cents per kilogram (greasy basis).

As this price is below the Government’s supplementary minimum wool price of 320 cents per kilogram (greasy basis) the specified percentage for supplementation will be 9.6 percent for all wool sold at auction and nationally for privately sold wool from and including the 29th day of March 1984. until midnight on the day before the next auction sale to be held.

CHANGE OF RATING SYSTEM—RIVERTON ROCKS

PURSUANT to section 16 of the Rating Act 1967, notice is hereby given that a poll was conducted on Tuesday, 27 March 1984, on the issue of proposing to change the system of rating within the Riverton Rocks area of Wallace County from the capital value rating system, to the land value rating system, and the result of this poll is as follows:

In favour of the capital value rating system 84
In favour of the land value rating system 85
Informal Nil

I therefore declare the proposal to change the system of rating from the capital value rating system to the land value rating system to be carried.

The land value rating system will take effect as from 1 April 1984.
