PURSUANT to sections 20 and 50 of the Public Works Act 1981,
the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that a
sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land

and shall vest in the Crown on the 5th day of April 1984.

Restrictions, for the Generation of Electricity (Housing) in the
Borough of Huntly
PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister
of Works and Development declares that, an agreement to that effect
having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto
is hereby acquired subject to the mining rights created by transfer
172438 and the fencing covenant contained in transfer H. 496865.1
and subject to and together with the benefit of the right of way
appurtenant thereto created by transfers H. 478854.1 and
H. 496865.1, South Auckland Land Registry for the generation of
electricity (housing) and shall vest in the Crown on the 5th day of
April 1984.

Declaring Easement Over Land Acquired for Soil Conservation
and River Control Purposes in Block IV, Te Mata Survey District,
Hawke’s Bay County
PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister
of Works and Development declares that, an agreement to that effect
having been entered into, an easement in gross (flood detention
dam) is hereby acquired over the land described in the Schedule
hereto, for soil conservation and river control purposes vesting in
the Crown (called the grantee) on the 5th day of April 1984, together
with the right of the grantee and its agents to do and carry out the
following over the said land:
(1) To enter on the said land by its engineers, officers, agents, and
workmen to go, pass and repass with or without machinery
or vehicles over and along the said land;
(2) To construct floodbanks, spillway and dam of such dimensions
as the grantee shall determine and from time to time alter
or reconstruct the same and do all things which are
necessary to maintain the same in a state of efficiency;
(3) To exercise the rights described herein to the extent that the
grantee shall determine but only to the extent necessary to
serve the purpose of the work;
(4) To prohibit the planting of trees (other planting may be
undertaken with the approval of the grantee which shall
not be unreasonably withheld) or the erection of any
buildings on the said land.

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 4206 square metres, situated in
Block IV, Te Mata Survey District, being part Lot 4, D.P. 3304; as
shown marked ‘A’ on S.O. Plan 8451, lodged in the office of the
Chief Surveyor at Napier.

Land and Easements Over Land, Acquired for Soil Conservation
and River Control Purposes in Blocks XII and XVI, Maramarua
Survey District, Waikato County
PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister
of Works and Development declares that, agreements to that effect
having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule
hereto is hereby acquired for soil conservation and river control
purposes and the easements described in the Second and Fourth
Schedules hereto and the right of way easement described in Third,
Fifth and Seventh Schedules hereto respectively and further declares that both
land and easements shall vest in The Waikato Valley Authority on
the 5th day of April 1984.
