PURSUANT to sections 15 and 16 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1977, the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER
- Title and commencement—(1) This order may be cited as the Town and Country Planning (Nelson Bays Regional Planning Scheme: Section One) Order 1984.
(2) This order shall come into force on the 19th day of March 1984.

Section One of Nelson Bays Regional Planning Scheme approved—Section One of the Nelson Bays Regional Planning Scheme as prepared in accordance with the Town and Country Planning Act 1977 by the Nelson Bays United Council in 1983, and held in the office of the Commissioner of Works under reference No. NEL 10, is hereby approved.

Commencement of section One of the Nelson Bays Regional Planning Scheme—Section One of the Nelson Bays Regional Planning Scheme as approved by clause 2 of this order shall come into force on the 19th day of March 1984.

Redefinition of Boundaries of the Hawkdun Pest Destruction District (Notice No. 3215; Ag. 6/13/3/6/1)

THE RIGHT HON. D. MACINTYRE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 23 (1) of the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
- (a) This order may be cited as the Redefinition of the Boundaries of the Hawkdun Pest Destruction District Order 1984.
(b) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of April 1984.
- The boundaries of the Hawkdun Pest Destruction District which was constituted by Order in Council on the 24th day of November 1975* are hereby altered to include the following areas:
(a) All that area in the Otago Land District, Vincent County, containing 583 hectares, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the north-eastern corner of Section 8, Block XIV, Tiger Hill Survey District, and proceeding generally south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of Section 7, Block XIV, Tiger Hill Survey District; thence generally south-easterly along that boundary to the western side of Poolburn-Moa Creek Road; thence north-easterly and north-westerly along that roadside and its production to the eastern boundary of Section 11, Block XV, Tiger Hill Survey District; thence south-westerly and north-westerly along the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of Section 11, aforesaid, to the point of commencement.
(b) All that area in the Otago Land District, Vincent County, containing 43 hectares, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the northernmost corner of Section 9, Block IX, Tiger Hill Survey District, and proceeding south-westerly and north-westerly along the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of Block IX, aforesaid to the south-eastern side of Moa Creek School Road; thence north-easterly along that roadside to the point of commencement.

East Coast Bays City - Takapuna City Boundaries Alteration Order 1984

PURSUANT to section 36 of the Local Government Act 1974, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order:

ORDER
- Title and commencement—(1) This order may be cited as the East Coast Bays City - Takapuna City Boundaries Alteration Order 1984.
(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of April 1984.
- Boundaries of East Coast Bays City and Takapuna City altered—The boundaries of East Coast Bays City and Takapuna City are hereby altered by:
(a) Excluding from Takapuna City and including in East Coast Bays City the areas described in the First Schedule to this order; and
(b) Excluding from East Coast Bays City and including in Takapuna City the areas described in the Second Schedule to this order.
- Effect on urban wards—(1) That part of the areas described in the Second Schedule to this order extending south from the north boundary of Sunset Road shall form part of the Glenfield Urban Ward of Takapuna City.
(2) That part of the areas described in the Second Schedule to this order extending north from the north boundary of Sunset Road shall form part of the Albany Urban Ward of Takapuna City.
- Transfer of powers, functions and other responsibilities—The East Coast Bays City Council in respect of the areas described in the First Schedule to this order, and the Takapuna City Council in respect of the areas described in the Second Schedule to this order:
(a) Shall have and may exercise and be responsible for all the powers, duties, acts of authority, and functions which were previously exercised, or which would have been so exercised, by the territorial authority from whose district the areas are hereby excluded;
(b) Shall have and may exercise and be responsible for all liabilities, obligations, engagements, and contracts which previously were, or which would have been, the responsibility of the territorial authority from whose district the areas are hereby excluded;
(c) Shall have and may exercise and be responsible for all actions, suits, and proceedings pending by or against, or which would have been the responsibility of the territorial authority from whose district the areas are hereby excluded;
(d) Shall succeed to the bylaws which are in force and which are applicable to the territorial authority’s altered circumstances and, until revoked or altered by that authority, every such bylaw shall remain in force in the areas in which it was in force immediately before the alteration of boundaries; and every bylaw which cannot be restricted to the areas shall be deemed inapplicable and revoked in respect of the areas by the alteration of boundaries;
(e) Shall succeed to all rates or levies and other money payable to the territorial authority from whose district the areas are hereby excluded;
(f) Shall succeed to the valuation rolls, electoral rolls, and rate records in force in the areas, and these shall remain in force until such rolls or records are made for it and until that time Part IX of the Rating Act 1967 shall apply as if the district in which those areas were included was the district of a special purpose authority and the areas from which it was formed were constituent districts.
- Vesting of Land—The corporation of East Coast Bays City, in respect of the areas described in the First Schedule to this order,
