In the notice with the above heading dated 10 February 1984 published in New Zealand Gazette of 16 February 1984, No. 22 at page 413, for the area of 3.5730 square metres which appears as the first area in the Schedule read 3.5730 hectares, which area appears in the original notice signed for the Minister of Works and Development.

Declaring the Course of Racecourse Creek in Grey County to be Altered or Diverted for the Purposes of a Road

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 235 of the Public Works Act 1981, I, The Honourable David Stuart Beattie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, declare that the course of Racecourse Creek shall be altered or diverted within the area of the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 2459 square metres, situated in Block IX, Arnold Survey District, being part Lot 2, D.P. 2300; as shown marked ‘A’ on S.O. Plan 10575, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Hokitika.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 19th day of March 1984.

Redefinition of Boundaries of the Alexandra Pest Destruction District (Notice No. 3214; Ag. 6/13/3/6/1)

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 19th day of March 1984

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. D. MACINTYRE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 23 (1) of the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

1. (a) This order may be cited as the Redefinition of the Boundaries of the Alexandra Pest Destruction District Order 1984.

(b) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of April 1984.

2. The boundaries of the Alexandra Pest Destruction District which was constituted by Order in Council on the 1st day of December 1975* are hereby altered to exclude the following areas:

(a) All that area in the Otago Land District, Vincent County, containing 583 hectares, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the north-easternmost corner of Section 8, Block XIV, Tiger Hill Survey District, and proceeding generally south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of Section 8 and its production to the northern boundary of Section 7, Block XIV, Tiger Hill Survey District; thence generally south-easterly along that boundary to the western side of Poolburn-Moa Creek Road; thence north-easterly and north-westerly along that roadside and its production to the eastern boundary of Section 11, Block XV, Tiger Hill Survey District; thence south-westerly and north-westerly along the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of Section 11, aforesaid, to the point of commencement.

(b) All that area in the Otago Land District, Vincent County, containing 43 hectares, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the northernmost corner of Section 9, Block IX, Tiger Hill Survey District, and proceeding south-westerly and north-westerly along the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of Block IX, aforesaid to the south-eastern side of Moa Creek School Road; thence north-easterly along that roadside to the point of commencement.
