CORRIGENDUM
Maori Land Court Sittings—Maori Appellate Court Sittings

IN the above-headed notice published in the New Zealand Gazette on 22 September 1983, No. 156, pages 3171 and 3172, in the Schedule thereto, for the sittings in the Waikato-Maniapoto District (Hamilton), for the sitting to be held in Thames on 31 October 1984, the date the Panui closes should read “28 September 1984” and not “8 September 1984”.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

IN the notice with the above heading, published in the New Zealand Gazette, 7 August 1980, No. 92, page 2351, in the Schedule thereto, the description of the land therein should read:

“Area

m² created by a Partition Order of the Maori Land Court

State Forest Land Set Apart as a State Forest Park to be Known as Whirinaki State Forest Park—Rotorua Conservancy

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 63B (1) of the Forests Act 1949 (as substituted by section 19 of the Forests Amendment Act 1976), I, The Honourable Sir David Stuart Beattie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the State forest land described in the Schedule hereto as State forest park to be known as Whirinaki State Forest Park.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—WHAKATANE DISTRICT—
TAUPO AND WAIROA COUNTIES

FIRST all that area of land in the South Auckland Land District, situated in the Whakatane District, Taupo and Wairoa Counties containing 59 617 hectares, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a point being the northernmost corner of part Section 1, Block V, Ahikereru Survey District; thence south-easterly along the northern boundary of the said Section 1, Block V, Ahikereru Survey District and part Urewera A Block in Block X, Ahikereru Survey District; thence generally south-westerly along the eastern boundary of the said part Urewera A Block to and along the north-eastern boundary of Section 1, Block IX, Ahikereru Survey District, to the left bank of the Whirinaki River, thence along the said left bank of the Whirinaki River to the intersection of that river bank and the production of the intersection of that river bank and the production of the northern boundary of part Section 4, Block XIII, Ahikereru Survey District.
