Minimum charge per consignment: $6.00

36.5 Owner's risk
The foregoing rates are at "limited carriers risk" and will be reduced by 2 percent where consignments require that the consignment be carried at "owner's risk".

Clause 37 (p. 2280) omit this clause and substitute:

37 CHARGING UNIT

37.1 Basis for charging
Goods charges according to clauses 34, 35 and 36 are to be charged at the greater of the mass (or weighing machine weight) or the dimensional weight.

37.2 Dimensional weight
The dimensional weight is to be calculated from the cubic measurement in cubic metres multiplied by a kilogram per cubic metre allowance.

37.2.1 Intra-Island
Movements within an Island shall have an allowance of 333 kilograms per cubic metre.

37.2.2 Inter-Island
Movements inter-Island shall have an allowance of 625 kilograms per cubic metre.

37.3 Documentation
All consignments of up to 5000 kilograms or 15 cubic metres shall have the cubic volume specified in cubic metres on the consignment note submitted to the Corporation. In the absence of this requirement being met, the Corporation reserves the right to estimate the cubic volume and to calculate charges accordingly.
