Plan 10594; thence by right line across the East Coast Main Trunk Railway to an adopted roadside Peg 96°15' 137.42 metres (683.1 links) from adopted Peg XXXVII, and 276°15' 70.27 metres (349.3 links) from an old peg, shown on M.L. Plan 10594, and the south-eastern boundary of Papamoa No. 2, Section 8 Block, shown on M.L. Plan 7137; and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the mean high-water mark of the Tauranga Harbour, and proceeding generally north-westerly along the mean high-water mark of the shore to the Tauranga Harbour to a point on the production of the south-western boundary of Wharawhara No. 3 Block;
Across the Tauranga-Te Maunga Motorway; and proceeding north-westerly along that production and across the last-mentioned motorway and across the East Coast Main Trunk Railway to and along the afore-mentioned south-western boundary, and to north-easterly along the north-western boundary of the afore-mentioned No. 3 Block to, the southern boundary of Ohuki No. 1D Block; thence proceeding westerly along that boundary to eastern side of Matapihi Road; thence by right line across that road to the south-eastern corner of Ohuki No. 1C2 block; thence north-easterly along the eastern boundary of the last-mentioned Block to the southern boundary of Ohuki No. 1C1 Block; thence generally along that southern boundary to the point of commencement.

ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, containing 2020 square kilometres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a point in Block I, Katikati North Survey District, on the sea coast of the Bay of Plenty, known as Te Ararimu, being the south-eastern corner of Lot 19, D.P. S. 20235, and proceeding generally south-easterly along the seashore of the Bay of Plenty to the north-eastern corner of Waewaehikitia I, situated in Block IV, Waihi South Survey District; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of Waewaehikitia 1, along a right line to and along the eastern boundaries of Waewaehikitia Urupa and Waewaehikitia No. 2B, 2A, and 3, along a right line to and along the eastern boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. 8636, along a right line across No. 2 State Highway, to and along the eastern boundaries of part Lot 2, and Lots 4 and 6, D.P. 35929, Lots 15, 14, part 13 and 11, D.P. 8636, to the north-eastern boundary of Section 9, Block VII, Waihi South Survey District;
Thence southerly along the western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. S. 19141 and its production to and along the eastern boundaries of part Tahunaroa 3A and part Section 6, Block VI, Waihi South Survey District, to the south-eastern corner of the last-mentioned section; thence southerly along a right line between that south-eastern corner and the north-western corner of part Section 15, Block XI, Rotoma Survey District, at its intersection with the northern boundary of Section 12, Block VII, Rotoma Survey District; thence generally north-westerly along that boundary to a point on the eastern side of Manawaha Road, in line with the northern boundary of Section 8, Block VII, Rotoma Survey District; thence westerly to and along that boundary, the northern boundary of Section 15, Block VI, Rotoma Survey District, the northern end of Hamilton Road, the northern boundary of part Rotoiti 18, Block VI, aforesaid, and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of Pongakawa Valley Road;
Thence generally north-westerly along the middle of that road, and the middle of Rotoehu Road to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 2, Block I, Rotoma Survey District; thence westerly to and along that boundary and its production to the middle of the Pararake Stream; thence southerly up the middle of that stream to the northern boundary of part Rotoiti 5B2, thence north-westerly along that boundary and the northern boundaries of Rotoiti 5B1 and Tokerau A4, to the eastern boundary of Kaikokopu Road along a right line to and again along the northern boundary of Tokerau A4, along the northern boundary of Tokerau A2 to the western boundary of Maniatutu Road; thence north-westerly along a right line, to the easternmost point of Tokerau A1B; thence proceeding north-westerly along the northern boundary of Tokerau A1B and Rotoiti 3V 2A, the northern end of Lichenstein Road, the northern boundary of part Rotoiti 3V, and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of Pokopoko Stream;
Thence northerly down the middle of that stream to a point in line with the northern boundary of part Waipapa 1D; thence westerly
to and along that boundary and its production to the middle of No. 33 State Highway; thence generally northerly along the middle of that State Highway to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of part Okere 1E; thence north-westerly to and along that boundary, and its production, to the middle of Kaituna River; thence northerly down the middle of that river to a point in line with the southern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. S. 12978; thence westerly to and along that boundary and the southern boundary of part Section 1, Block XIV, Maketu Survey District and its production to the middle of Mangorewa River;
Thence generally south-westerly up the middle of that river, to and up the middle of Ohaupara Stream to the south-eastern boundary of Taumata 3A, 2B; thence south-westerly to and along that boundary and the south-eastern boundary of the said Section 3 to its intersection with a right line between the westernmost corner of Section 9, Block V, Horohoro Survey District, and Trig Station 27, Puwhenua, at the easternmost corner of Block VII, Tapapa East Survey District; thence north-easterly along that right line to Trig Station 146, Te Weraiti, at the northernmost corner of Block I, Tapapa East Survey District; thence north-easterly along a right line to Trig Station 909, Waianunu, at the easternmost corner of Block XVI, Waiere Survey District; thence along the generally north-eastern boundaries of part Okauia I (Gordon Park Scenic Reserve), Maurihiro A and B, Waiharakeke East part 5. 1A, 1C2B2, 1C1A and part Section 20, Block III, Waiere Survey District, shown on D.P. 28359, to the southern boundary of Thompson Track;
Thence by a right line, to the southernmost point of Section 20 aforesaid, shown on D.P. 4110; thence proceeding generally north-westerly along the generally north-eastern boundaries of that section, another part Section 20, shown on D.P. 26605, another part Section 20 (State Forest, Gazette, 1955, page 1892), along the eastern side of a public road to and along the generally north-eastern boundary of Lot 5, D.P. 25781, to its northernmost point; thence north-westerly along the eastern boundary of the original Aroha Block, shown on M.L. 3062, being through State Forest in Block X, Aongatete Survey District, and Blocks VII and XI, Katikati Survey District; thence south-westerly along that boundary to Trig Station Te Aroha No. 2 at the westernmost corner of Block XI, Katikati Survey District; thence north-easterly along a right line to the westernmost corner of Section 3, Block VII, Aroha Survey District;
Thence south-easterly along the south-western boundaries of that section, Lot 1, D.P. S. 15504, Section 1, Block XII, Katikati Survey District, Section 36, part Section 34, and Section 39, Block IV, Katikati Survey District, to the westernmost boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 23590; thence northerly and easterly along the western and northern boundaries of that lot, along a right line across Woodlands Road and along the northern boundaries of Lots 2 and part Lot 3, D.P. 23590, and Lot 1, D.P. 30035, to the south-eastern corner of Section 27, Block IV, Katikati Survey District; thence along the north-eastern boundaries of Section 27 aforesaid, and Section 2, Block XII, Katikati Survey District, to the northernmost corner of that section; thence north-easterly along the north-western boundary of Section 12, Block I, Katikati Survey District, to the south-western side of No. 2 State Highway;
Thence generally north-westerly along that side to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Lot 9, D.P. 28257; thence to and along that boundary and its production across State Highway No. 2 to and along the generally north-eastern boundaries of Lots 1 and 2, D.P. S. 6845, Lot 1, D.P. S. 26279, part Lot 5 and Lot 4, D.P. 28257, and part Section 5, Block I, Katikati North Survey District, the south-eastern and north-eastern boundaries of Lot 2, D.P. S. 12264 and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the southern boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. S. 13931; thence easterly along the southern boundaries of Lots 7, 12 and 9, D.P. S. 31408, along Lots 5, 2, and 3, D.P. S. 8034, crossing the intervening Two Mile Creek, and its production across Seaforth Road, Glen Isla Place, and easterly along southern boundaries of Lots 17, 16, 14, 13, 12, 18, and 19, D.P. S. 20235, to the point of commencement, including the Islands of Matakana, Rangiwaea, Egg, Tutaetaka, Te Hopai, Motuhoa and other adjacent islands within the Tauranga Harbour, and excluding therefrom, the city of Tauranga, as described in Gazette, 1980, page 169, the Borough of Mount Maunganui, as hereafter described and the Borough of Te Puke as described in Gazette, 1968, page 1257.

- Alexander King Ewing, Controller Marine Administration, pursuant to sections 8A and 165 of the Harbours Act 1950, and in exercise of the powers delegated to me pursuant to sections 8 and 9 of the Ministry of Transport Act 1968, hereby approve the Waitomo District Council Foreshore, Riverbed, and Waters Bylaws 1983, made by the Waitomo District Council on 27 October 1983 and confirmed on 15 December 1983.
