  1. From Hastings into the Nos 3, 4, 5A, 5B, 6 and 7 Goods Service Districts, pre-cast plain reinforced or pre-stressed concrete products manufactured by Unicast Concrete Limited, Hastings. Exempt from the provisions of section 109 (1) of the Transport Act 1962 for:

(a) The carriage of concrete bridge beams with a minimum length of 14 metres.

(b) The carriage of concrete products that are too large or too heavy to be carried by rail.

  1. With exemption from section 109 (1) of the Transport Act 1962 for the carriage of integral parts for assembled farm implements and assembled farm machines carried on the same vehicle or a following vehicle as the implement or machine to which they are a part and which departs and arrives at the same time as the parent load throughout the North Island.

Taxi North Shore Society Ltd.: Pursuant to the Review Decision of the No. 2 Licensing Authority dated 22 February 1984, a public hearing will now be held pursuant to section 144 (2) of the Transport Act 1962, to receive a report from the Ministry of Transport for the purposes of determining whether—

(a) Taxi services on the North Shore are adequate to meet the reasonable public demand; and

(b) Those services are being carried on in an efficient manner; and

(c) The grant of additional licences would materially affect the economic stability of other holders of taxicab service licences.
