Appointment of the Minister of Internal Affairs to Control and Manage a Reserve and Declaration That the Said Reserve Shall be Subject to the Provisions of the Wildlife Act 1953

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, the Minister of Lands, hereby appoints the Minister of Internal Affairs to control and manage the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a Government purpose (wildlife management) reserve, and further, declares that the said reserve shall be subject to the provisions of the Wildlife Act 1953.

Declaration That Land is a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Blenheim Borough Council on the 23rd day of October 1984:

“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it, by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Blenheim Borough Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the said Borough Council in fee simple and, described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby, declared to be a Recreation Reserve within the meaning of the said Act”.
