Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a meeting place for the common use and benefit of the Maori people of the Taitokerau District.

PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows:

1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Wanganui 1984, No. 11.

2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Amending a Notice Declaring Land Taken for Railway Purposes Between Ngakawau and Seddonville (Mokihinui Branch) and Not Now Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

PURSUANT to section 10 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, the General Manager of the New Zealand Railways Corporation hereby amends the notice dated the 9th day of May 1984 and published in the Gazette, 17 May 1984, No. 80, page 1609 by deleting therefrom those areas firstly, secondly, thirdly, fourthly, fifthly, sixthly, seventhly, eighthly and ninthly described therein and substituting the areas described in the Schedule hereto.
