Reservation of Land

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, and to a delegation from the
Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands
hereby sets apart the land, described in the Schedule hereto, as a
scenic reserve subject to the provisions of section 19 (1) (b) of the
Reserves Act 1977.

1763 square metres (1 rood 27.9 perches), more or less, being part
Section 7, Block III, Pihanga Survey District (formerly Closed Road).

Classification of Reserve

Classification and Naming of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the
Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands
hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a
scenic reserve, for the purposes specified in section 19 (1) (a) of the
Reserves Act 1977 subject to the provisions of the said Act, and
further, declares that the said reserve shall hereafter be known as
the Siberia Scenic Reserve.

Classification of Reserve and Vesting in the Dannevirke County
Council

recreation reserve, and vests the said reserve in the Dannevirke
County Council in trust for that purpose.

Cancelling a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 439 (5) (b) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the
Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto and set apart
as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a marae and meeting place
for the common use and benefit of the members of the Whanaugani,
I, Kaitangata and Ngati-Kawau sub-tribes, published in New Zealand
Gazette, No. 33, page 711, dated 10 June 1948 and amended by
New Zealand Gazette notice No. 21, page 403, dated 13 April 1950
is hereby cancelled.
