Every member or creditor entitled to attend and vote at the meetings is entitled to appoint a proxy to attend and vote instead of him. A proxy need not also be a member or creditor respectively.
Proxies to be used at the meetings must be lodged at the offices of Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co., Tenth Floor, National Mutual Centre, Shortland Street, Auckland, not later than 4 o’clock in the afternoon on the 8th day of November 1984.

NOTICE OF MEETING
NOTICE is hereby given that a general meeting of shareholders of J. M. WHITE HOLDINGS LTD. will be held at 49 Hamilton Avenue, Christchurch on Friday, the 23rd day of November 1984 at 9 a.m.
Special Business:
To consider and if thought fit to pass with or without amendment the following as a special resolution:
“That the memorandum of association of the company be altered pursuant to section 18 (1) (c) of the Companies Act 1955 by deleting paragraphs 3 (c) through to 3 (u) both inclusive of the memorandum of association of the company and in lieu thereof from the date of passing this resolution the company shall have the rights, powers and privileges of a natural person (including the powers referred to in subsection (1) (a) to (h) of section 15A of the Companies Act 1955).”

Explanation: As provided for in the Companies Amendment Act No. 2, 1983, the company seeks by this resolution to broaden the powers under its memorandum of association to those now permitted by the Act.

NOTICE BY ADVERTISEMENT OF SPECIAL RESOLUTION FOR VOLUNTARY WINDING-UP
In the matter of the Companies Act 1955, and in the matter of KIA ORA FARM LTD., in voluntary liquidation, members winding up:
At an extraordinary meeting of the above-named company duly convened and held at Christchurch on the 12th day of October 1984, the following special resolution was duly passed, viz:
That the company be wound up voluntarily and that Peter Joseph Quirke be appointed liquidator for the purposes of such winding up.

FORT STREET BUILDINGS (1980) LTD.
NOTICE is hereby given that at the annual general meeting of the above-named company on the 15th day of October 1984, the following special resolution was passed by the company:
“That the company having filed a declaration of solvency in compliance of section 274 (2) of the Companies Act 1955, be wound up voluntarily and J. M. Wiseman be appointed liquidator.”
NOTICE TO CREDITORS TO PROVE
The liquidator of Fort Street Buildings (1980) Ltd., which is being wound up voluntarily, doth hereby fix the 30th day of November 1984 as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 308 of the Act, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved or, as the case may be, from objecting to such distribution.
