ORDER

  1. This order may be cited as the Maniototo Irrigation District Amending Order 1984.

  2. The Maniototo Irrigation District Order 1975 is hereby amended by omitting the First Schedule thereto and replacing it with the following:

FIRST SCHEDULE

All that area in the Otago Land District, Maniototo County, containing 10550 hectares, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the north-western corner of Section 4, Block IV, Gimmerburn Survey District and proceeding easterly along the northern boundary of that section and its production to the south-eastern side of Gimmerburn-Naseby Road; thence north-easterly along that roadside to the south-western corner of section 28, Block IV, Gimmerburn Survey District; thence easterly along the southern boundary of that section and its production to the middle of Eden Creek; thence generally south-westerly down the middle of Eden Creek to the left bank of the Taieri River to a point in line with the southern boundary of Section 9, Block XII, Upper Taieri Survey District; thence westerly to and along that boundary and the southern boundary of Run 308C to the south-eastern side of Linburn Runs Road; thence south-westerly along that roadside to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Section 11, Block XII, Upper Taieri Survey District; thence north-westerly to and along that boundary and its production to a point due south of Trig J, Block V, Upper Taieri Survey District; thence easterly along the southern boundary of Section 5, Block III, Upper Taieri Survey District; thence northerly to and along that boundary and northerly along the western boundary of Section 11, Block XII, Gimmerburn Survey District, and its production to the north-western boundary of Section 3 aforesaid to the northern-most corner of that section; thence due north to the southern boundary of Section 16, Block IV, Gimmerburn Survey District; thence westerly along that boundary and its production to the south-eastern side of Devon Road; thence north-easterly along that roadside to the point of commencement.

Appointment of Member to the Marlborough Land Valuation Tribunal

PURSUANT to section 19 of the Land Valuation Proceedings Act 1948, as substituted by section 2 of the Land Valuation Proceedings Amendment Act 1977, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint:

Richard John Guthrie Beatson, registered valuer of Motueka, to be a member of the Marlborough Land Valuation Tribunal for a period of 6 years on and from the date hereof.

Appointment of Member and Deputy Member of the Urban Transport Council

PURSUANT to section 14 of the Urban Transport Act 1980, and section 2 of the Schedule to that Act, the Municipal Association of New Zealand Incorporated and the New Zealand Counties Association Incorporated jointly hereby appoint:

Rex Stratton Kirton, Mayor of Upper Hutt

to be a member of the Urban Transport Council and

Clutha Nantes MacKenzie, O.B.E., Chairman of Hurunui County Council

to be a deputy to R. S. Kirton upon the Urban Transport Council, both for a 3-year term commencing the 1st day of October 1984.

Commissioner of High Court Appointed

PURSUANT to section 47 of the Judicature Act 1908, the Right Honourable Sir Ronald Davison, Chief Justice of New Zealand, has this day appointed:

Christopher George Marlow Esquire, of Boroko, Papua New Guinea

Solicitor of the National Court of Papua New Guinea to be Commissioner of the High Court of New Zealand in Papua New Guinea and for the purpose of administering and taking oaths, affidavits and affirmations as in the said section mentioned.

Revocation of Approval of Persons Authorised to Perform Vaccination Against Tuberculosis

PURSUANT to regulation 6(4) of the Tuberculosis Regulations 1951, the Director-General of Health hereby gives notice of the revocation of the approval of the following persons as qualified to perform vaccinations against tuberculosis in accordance with those regulations.

Angela Mary Pennell, Medical Practitioner.

Sheena Elizabeth Tompkins, Medical Practitioner.
