In the notice with the above heading published in the New Zealand Gazette of 15 July 1982, No. 79 at page 2355; the fifth line of the Schedule should read “41497, 41510, and 41511 (formerly Reserves 3271, 4404 and)”.

Amending the Marlborough Sounds and Coastal Foreshore Control Order 1973

Present:
THE RIGHT HON. DAVID LANGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 165 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Marlborough Sounds and Coastal Foreshore Control Order 1973* by revoking the First Schedule to that order, and substituting the First Schedule set out in the Schedule to this order.
The order amending the Marlborough Sounds and Coastal Foreshore Control Order 1973† is hereby consequentially revoked.
NEW FIRST SCHEDULE
“FIRST SCHEDULE
-
All that area of foreshore and seabed of D’Urville Island and any other island or rocks within a line commencing at the southernmost rock of Beef Barrells; thence to a point 40° 50’S 173° 45’E; thence to a point 40° 50’S 173° 45’E; thence to a point 40° 45’S 173° 49’E; thence to a point 40° 41’S 173° 57’E; thence to a point 40° 45’S 174° 02’E; thence by low water mark ordinary spring tide at Bonne Point; thence by the line of low water mark ordinary spring tide to the south-eastern point of D’Urville Peninsula; thence by a straight line to the point of low water mark ordinary spring tide at Reef Point on D’Urville Island; thence by a straight line to the southernmost rock of the Beef Barrells being the point of commencement.

All that area of foreshore and seabed within right lines drawn from Pukerau Point in Tasman Bay to the low water mark ordinary spring tide at Cape Soucis; thence to the low water mark ordinary spring tide at Channel Point; then by the line of low water mark ordinary spring tide to Collinet Point; thence to the low water mark ordinary spring tide at Clay Point; thence to the low water mark ordinary spring tide at Alligator Head; thence to the low water mark ordinary spring tide at Cape Jackson; thence to the low water mark ordinary spring tide at Cape Koamaru thence by the line of low water mark ordinary spring tide to Perano Head; thence by a straight line to Cape Campbell; thence generally following the line of low water mark ordinary spring tide westerly, southerly, easterly, westerly, round the Kaikoura Peninsula; thence generally southerly to the easternmost point of the northern bank of the Conway River, thence inland to the point of high water mark ordinary spring tide; excluding therefrom—
(a) The foreshore of Maud Island;
(b) The foreshore at Chancet Rocks as lies within Section 20, Block VII, Cape Campbell Survey District, as more particularly shown on plan S.O. 5508;
(c) The foreshore of Duffers Reef; and
(d) The foreshore of White Rocks.”
The above areas are more particularly shown on plan M.D. 16281, deposited in the office of the Secretary for Transport in Wellington.
