NOTICE
The Road Classification (Dannevirke County) Notice No. 1, 1984
PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974*, and pursuant to the powers delegated to me by the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, hereby give the following notice:

This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Dannevirke County) Notice No. 1, 1984.

The Dannevirke County Council’s proposed classification of the roads as set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby approved.

The notices dated the 12th day of April 1951†, the 20th day of October 1952‡, the 7th day of September 1961€, the 7th day of May 1968‖, the 3th day of November 1972• and the 7th day of May 1979** which relate to the classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto are hereby revoked.
SCHEDULE
DANNEVIRKE COUNTY
Roads Classification in Class One
Kumeti Road: from Maharahara Road to the Tui Co-operative Dairy Company Ltd. factory entrance.
Maharahara Road: from No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne) to Kumeti Road.
Rawhiti Street: from the Dannevirke Borough boundary to the No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne) South of Tapuata Stream.
Roads Classified in Class Two
All roads and parts of roads under the control of the Dannevirke County Council not otherwise named in this Schedule.

Eltham Road: from Auroa Road to the No. 45 State Highway (New Plymouth-Hawera via Opunake).
Patiki Road: from Skeet Road to No. 45 State Highway (New Plymouth-Hawera via Opunake).
Skeet Road: from the Oeo Stream Bridge to Patiki Road.

The notices dated the 26th day of September 1960¹, the 13th day of June 1961², the 20th day of July 1971³, the 11th day of November 1971⁴, the 9th day of December 1971⁵, the 1st day of May 1974⁶, the 1st day of April 1976⁷ and the 1st day of December 1976⁸, which relate to the classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto are hereby revoked.

Brown Road: from No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth) to New Plymouth Airport.
Corbett Road: from No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth) to the railway line.
Egmont Road: from No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth) to Katere Road.
Henwood Road: from No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth) to Manutahi Road.
Katere Road.
Lower Mangorei Road: from No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth) to the New Plymouth City boundary.
Mamaku Road.
Manutahi Road: from Henwood Road to No. 3A State Highway (Waitara-Inglewood).
Paraite Road: from No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth) to the railway line.
Raleigh Street.
Smart Road: from No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth) to a point 5.6 kilometres measured southerly, generally, along the said road from Colsons Road.
