CORRIGENDUM

Notice to Set Apart and Define a Special Quarantine Farm at Tuakau

IN the notice with the above heading published in the New Zealand Gazette, 26 July 1984, No. 128, page 2870.

(1) for "special quarantine farm" in the title read "special quarantine ground" ;

(2) add the words "and Ag. 6/4/3/0/1" after "Ag. 6/4/5/19" in the title;

(3) for "special quarantine farm" in the fifth line read "special quarantine ground".

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 10th day of September 1984

Present:

THE HON. D. R. LANCE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 4 of the Disabled Persons Employment Promotion Act 1960, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Labour made after consultation with the unions, associations, and organisations referred to in section 5 of that Act, and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. Title—This order may be cited as the New Zealand Society for the Intellectually Handicapped (Incorporated), Franklin Branch (No. 2) Order 1984.

  2. Exemption—The New Zealand Society for the Intellectually Handicapped (Incorporated), Franklin Branch, an organisation approved* by the Minister of Labour under section 3 of the Disabled Persons Employment Promotion Act 1960, is hereby granted exemption in respect of its sheltered workshop at Adams Drive, Pukekohe from—

(a) All the provisions of every award and agreement that would otherwise apply to persons employed in that workshop ;

and

(b) The Minimum Wage Act 1945, the Holidays Act 1981, and sections 10 (2) (b) and 15 of the Factories and Commercial Premises Act 1981.

PURSUANT to section 4 of the Disabled Persons Employment Promotion Act 1960, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Labour made after consultation with the unions, associations, and organisations referred to in section 5 of that Act, and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. Title—This order may be cited as the New Zealand Society for the Intellectually Handicapped (Incorporated), Wellington Branch Order 1984.

  2. Exemption—The New Zealand Society for the Intellectually Handicapped (Incorporated), Wellington Branch, an organisation approved* by the Minister of Labour under section 3 of the Disabled Persons Employment Promotion Act 1960, under its former name of the Intellectually Handicapped Children's Society (Incorporated), Wellington Branch, is hereby granted exemption in respect of its sheltered workshop at 28 Goodshed Road, Upper Hutt from—

(a) All the provisions of every award and agreement that would otherwise apply to persons employed in that workshop ;

and

(b) The Minimum Wage Act 1945, the Holidays Act 1981, and sections 10 (2) (b) and 15 of the Factories and Commercial Premises Act 1981.
