Proposed Cancellation of Registration of Industrial Union

PURSUANT to section 195 of the Industrial Relations Act 1973, it is hereby notified that the registration of the New Zealand Federated Biscuit and Confectionery and Related Trades Industrial Association of Workers, Registered No. 1318, situated at 101 La Gonda Centre, 203 Karangahape Road, Newton, Auckland 1, will, unless cause to the contrary is shown, be cancelled on the expiration of 6 weeks from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette.

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the undersigned Deputy Secretary to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to the Secretary to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities, mentioned in the Schedule hereto, of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in the Schedule.

Customs Entries for Vessels and Aircraft Determination Notice 1984

PURSUANT to section 56 of the Customs Act 1966, the Comptroller of Customs, in accordance with the power delegated to him by the Minister of Customs under section 9 of that Act, hereby makes the following determination.

NOTICE

  1. Short title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Customs entries for vessels and aircraft determination notice 1984.
    (2) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of October 1984.

  2. Entries for vessels and aircraft imported otherwise than as cargo—Entries shall be made in respect of such ships and other vessels and in respect of such aircraft, being ships, vessels, and aircraft imported into New Zealand otherwise than as cargo, as set out in the Schedule to this notice.

  3. Revocation—The following notices are hereby revoked:
    (a) The Determination by the Minister of Customs under section 2 of the Customs Amendment Act 1959*.
    (b) The Determination by the Minister of Customs under section 56 of the Customs Act 1966†.

SCHEDULE

(1) Aircraft, ships, and other vessels for service within New Zealand, whether or not they are intended for temporary service.
(2) Aircraft, ships, and other vessels on non-commercial visits to New Zealand.

Transport Licensing Authority Sittings

PURSUANT to section 121 and 135 of the Transport Act 1962, the No. 5A Transport Licensing Authority (I. J. Drabble), has received the under-mentioned application and will hold a public sitting at District Court, No. 2 Court Room, Customhouse Street, Gisborne, commencing at 9.30 a.m. on 24 October 1984.

Evidence-in-chief of applicant and their witnesses must be presented in writing at the hearings. Copies are to be made available for the Authority and likely objectors. Adjourned applications have not been readvertised.

Transport Licensing Authority Sittings

PURSUANT to sections 119, 120, 121, 135 and 136 of the Transport Act 1962, the No. 3 Transport Licensing Authority (I. J. Drabble), gives notice of the receipt of the under-mentioned applications and will hold public sittings in the Conference Room, Ministry of Transport, Second Floor, Clayton House; 109–111 Anglesea Street, Hamilton on Friday, 12 October 1984, commencing at 9.30 a.m. to receive evidence and representations for and/or against the granting of them.
