Notice of Approval of Bylaw

I, Alexander King Ewing, Controller Marine Administration, pursuant to sections 165 and 8A of the Harbours Act 1950, and in exercise of powers delegated to me pursuant to sections 8 and 9 of the Ministry of Transport Act 1968, hereby approve the revised Thames-Coromandel District Council Foreshores and Waters Bylaw No. 7, made by the Thames-Coromandel District Council on 30 May 1984, and confirmed on 28 June 1984.

Cancellation of Registration of Industrial Union

PURSUANT to section 194 of the Industrial Relations Act 1973, it is hereby notified that the registration of the New Zealand Federated Saddlers Canvas Workers Riggers and Related Trades Industrial Association of Workers, registered No. 1779, situated in Room 11, Trades Hall, 126 Vivian Street, Wellington, is hereby cancelled as from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette.

Local Authorities Loans Act 1956—Sinking Fund Contributions for Loans Which are Subject to the Local Authorities Loans Exemption Order 1983

PURSUANT to section 3A (3) of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 (as inserted by section 3 of the Local Authorities Loans Amendment Act 1982), notice is hereby given that the Local Authorities Loans Board (the “Board”) has determined as follows:

  1. This general determination shall:

(a) Apply to all money which any local authority may borrow after the 13th day of September 1984 by way of special loan for which pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Exemption Order 1983 it is exempted from obtaining the sanction of the Board and the consent of the Minister of Finance;

(b) Notwithstanding subclause (a) hereof not apply to special loans wholly funded by the Housing Corporation of New Zealand or the Rural Banking and Finance Corporation of New Zealand.

  1. Schedule II of the general determination made by the Board and published in the Gazette on the 22nd day of September 1983 at page 3184 is hereby cancelled and the following substituted:

PURSUANT to the Introduction and Quarantine of Plant Regulations 1973, and the Stock Foods and Agricultural Seeds Importation Regulations 1958, the Director-General of Agriculture and Fisheries hereby gives notice that the following cultivars are to be added to the Schedule of acceptable herbage cultivars contained in Appendix II of the Importation of Seeds Notice 1980.
