A84/17 Dunedin Taxis (1965) Ltd., Dunedin. Application to amend operating rules as follows:
(1) Amend operating rule 9 by deleting whole clause 9 and substituting the following:
Every licensee shall cause to be displayed and kept displayed on his/her cab while it is plying for hire, the colour scheme, designs, devises, marks, signs and symbols adopted by the company at an annual general meeting or an extraordinary general meeting and no licensee shall permit his taxi cab to be operated without such insignia displayed unless prior consent to do so is obtained from the management who may grant, refuse or withdraw consent as is deemed fit, provided that no regulation is infringed thereby.
(2) Amend operating rule 60 by adding subclause 6 (c) as follows:
No shareholder shall be eligible for election as a member of the Disciplinary Committee, Reserve Committee, Appeal Committee or Appeal Reserve Committee unless he/she shall have been a shareholder for a minimum period of 3 years immediately prior to his nomination.
