Declaring Land Acquired for Railway Purposes at Katiki
PURSUANT to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the General Manager of the New Zealand Railways Corporation hereby declares that an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for and on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen for railway purposes.

Approval to Use Land for the Burial of Members of The Anglican Church
PURSUANT to section 31 (1) of the Burial and Cremation Act 1964, the Minister of Health hereby gives the following notice:
NOTICE
BEING satisfied that:
-
Not less than 25 adult members of the religious denomination known as The Church of the Province of New Zealand, commonly known as the Anglican Church, are desirous of having the land specified in the Schedule to this notice set apart as a burial ground; and
-
The said land is held in fee simple by 2 members of that religious denomination, namely Alexander John Auld and Norma Vincent Auld; and
-
The said land is suitable as a burial ground:
I hereby approve the said land being used only for the burial of the members of that Church as from the 1st day of October 1984.
SCHEDULE
All that parcel of land containing 986 square metres, more or less, being section 5 in the village of Mangati, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title: Volume 168, folio 289 (South Auckland Registry).

PURSUANT to section 5 (5) of the Marine Mammals Protection Act 1978, the Minister of Fisheries advises that the Hawke’s Bay Mainland and Aquarium Trust Board has applied for a permit to capture and hold four (4) Common Dolphins (Delphinus delphis) for breeding and display purposes and hereby calls for any submissions regarding this application to be made in writing within 28 days of publication of this notice.
