Appointment of the Minister of Police to Control and Manage a Reserve and Declaration that the said Reserve shall be Subject to the Provisions of the Police Act 1958
PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints the Minister of Police to control and manage the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a government purpose (police) reserve, and further declares that the said reserve shall be subject to the provisions of the Police Act 1958.

Declaration that Land shall be a Walkway
PURSUANT to the New Zealand Walkways Act 1975, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that a walkway has been established over the land, described in the Schedule hereto, and further declares that the walkway be known as part of the Hawke Bay Coastal Walkway.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975
PURSUANT to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that a supplementary integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education and the proprietor of the following school: St. Pius X School, Melville.
The said supplementary integration agreement will come into effect on 12 January 1984. Copies of the supplementary integration agreement are available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the Department of Education, Head Office, National Mutual Building, Featherston Street, Wellington and at regional offices.

National Roads Board: Varying Notice of Declaration of State Highways
PURSUANT to section 11 of the National Roads Act 1953, the National Roads Board acting with the written approval of the Minister of Works and Development, hereby gives notice that it cancels the varying notice of declaration dated the 30th day of August 1983 and published in the Gazette, 8 September 1983, No. 143, page 3001 and substituting therefore the paragraphs set out in the First Schedule and Second Schedule hereto with effect from the publication of this notice in the Gazette.

COMMENCING in the Mount Maunganui Borough at the junction of Tasman Quay and Hull Road and proceeding thence via Tasman Quay, Hewletts Road, Mount Maunganui Road, Te Maunga (SH. 2) intersection to Maungatapu Bridge, to Hairini Bypass, Tauriko, Te Poi, and Hinuera to the junction with State Highway 1 at Piarere.

FROM the western boundary of the City of Tauranga, along Waihi Road, 11th Avenue, Cameron Road, 15th Avenue, Turret Road, Hairini Bridge and causeway, Hairini to Maungatapu Bridge bypass to the north-eastern boundary of the city.
