II—CARPET EXCLUSIVE AUSTRALIAN LICENCE FOR CALENDAR YEAR 1985

(1 January–31 December 1985)

On the transfer of the issue of synthetic carpet EALS to a calendar year basis, as set out in Annex C Part 4 of the ANZCERT Agreement, MEALS and TEALs for the next year will be issued for the period 1 January – 31 December 1985. (MEALs and TEALs currently held will remain valid until their expiry on 30 June 1985). The call for tenders is as follows:

NOTE—Manufacturers who wish to apply for a share of the 1985 MEAL for synthetic carpet (181 500 sq. m.) are reminded that applications have to be with the Department by 1 October 1985. No late applications will be accepted.
