The Standards Act 1965—Draft New Zealand Amendment
Available for Comment
PURSUANT to sub-section (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act
1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft amendment is
being circulated.
Number and Title of Specification
DZ 4441/A1 Draft Amendment No. 1 to NZS 4441:1972 Code of
practice for swimming pools. Gratis.
The project committee responsible for the drafting of NZS 5826
Code of practice for the operation of swimming pools, has
recommended that NZS 4441:1972 Code of practice for swimming
pools, be amended to delete reference to a ‘pool load factor’ below
350 (refer clause 16) as acceptable and noted that this is an excessive
‘pool load factor’.
As Part 1 the control of pool water quality of NZS 5826 is to
be published shortly, the above draft amendment is released for
public comment. Amendments to related documents have also been
included.
All persons who may be affected by this publication and who
desire to comment thereon may obtain copies from the Standards
Association of New Zealand, Wellington Trade Centre, 15–23
Sturdee Street, (or Private Bag), Wellington.
The closing date for receipt of comment is 26 October 1984.

Levy on Pigs Slaughtered on Licensed Premises 1984/85
PURSUANT to clause 30 (3) of the Pork Industry Board Act 1982,
notice is hereby given that the levy on pigs slaughtered on licensed
premises as from and including 1 October 1984, shall be $2.65 per
pig, being $1.05 per pig for administration and $1.60 per pig for
marketing.

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated
18 April 1984 and pursuant to section 153 of the Public Works Act
1981, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 10, Pakaraka
to Waitangi River, for half its width on the southern side across
the frontages of Patukauae A1 and A2 blocks (including a road way),
held in certificates of title 286/27 and 51D/861 respectively, as more
particularly shown on sheet 1 of Plan LA 11/34/2 and accompanying
Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of
Works and Development, Whangarei, and there available for public
inspection, to be a limited access road.
