Notice of Approval of Red Rear Reflectors in Terms of the Traffic Regulations 1976

NOTICE

PURSUANT to regulation 88 (1) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*, the red rear reflectors specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby approved for the purposes of regulation 62 (2), (3), (4) and (5) of the said regulations.

SCHEDULE

RED reflectors, approximately 70 mm × 70 mm, incorporated in tail lamp assemblies fitted as standard equipment to Nissan model CMA 81 motor vehicles and containing the following marks:

(i) IKI 7074©
(ii) ©IKI 4159

Pursuant to powers delegated to me by the Secretary for Transport by an instrument of delegation dated the 28th day of September 1983.

The Traffic (Waimairi District) Notice No. 2, 1984

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, and pursuant to a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and pursuant to a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, hereby give the following notice:

NOTICE

THIS notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waimairi District) Notice No. 2, 1984.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 70 kilometres an hour speed limit area pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

The Traffic (Waimairi County) Notice No. 4, 1979, dated the 12th day of February 1979†, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 21 (4) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waimairi District at Kainga:
Cawood Terrace.
Gillespies Road.
Kainga Road: from Main North Road to a point 500 metres measured easterly, generally, along Kainga Road from Gillespies Road.
Ourbridge Street.
Pikes Track.
Savage Street.
Seddon Street.

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waimairi District at Kainga:
Main North Road: from a point 80 metres measured southerly, generally, along Main North Road from Kainga Road to a point 400 metres measured northerly, generally, along Main North Road from Kainga Road.

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, and pursuant to a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and pursuant to a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, hereby give the following notice:

NOTICE

THIS notice may be cited as the Traffic (Whangaroa County) Notice No. 2, 1984.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

The Traffic (Whangaroa County) Notice No. 1, 1971, dated the 18th day of August 1971† and the Traffic (Whangaroa County) Notice No. 1, 1984, dated the 20th day of January 1984‡, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956 and 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 are hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Whangaroa County:
At Kaeo: No. 10 State Highway (Pakaraka-Awanui via Mangonui): from a point 350 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said State Highway from its junction with Waikare Road to a point 140 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said State Highway from the said junction.
At Taupo Bay: Mako Street.
Marlin Drive.
Taupo Bay Road: from Marlin Drive to a point 250 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the said road from Marlin Drive.
Tuna Place.
At Te Ngaira: Wainui Road: from a point 150 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along the said road from the Ngaira Stream to a point 400 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along the said road from the said stream.
At Whangaroa: Kent Street.
Old Church Road.
Old Hospital Road.
Ruato Road.
Whangaroa Road: from its northern end to a point 90 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said road from Kent Street.

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Whangaroa County.
At Kaeo: No. 10 State Highway (Pakaraka-Awanui via Mangonui): from a point 140 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said State Highway from its junction with Waikare Road to a point 60 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said State Highway from its junction with Martins Road.
