Plan 21024, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Dunedin.

THE Crown land described in the following Schedule is hereby declared to be exempted from the provisions of the Mining Act 1971. Plans of the area illustrating the locality are held by the Chief Surveyor, Hokitika and the Secretary of Mines, Wellington.

PURSUANT to section 24(7) of the Gas Act 1982 a description of the areas of the franchise granted under that section for the supply of gas is hereby published.

THE NATURAL GAS CORPORATION OF NEW ZEALAND LTD.

ALL that area in the counties of Waikato, Matamata, Waipa and Otorohanga and Waitomo District excluding the gas franchise areas of the Hamilton City Council and the Huntly Borough Council—Hamilton City Council joint venture.

HAMILTON CITY COUNCIL

ALL that area within a radius of 16 kilometres from the Chief Post Office, Victoria Street, Hamilton and that area between the above and the area around the Huntly Borough supplied by the Hamilton City Council and Huntly Borough Council joint venture already defined in the New Zealand Gazette dated 6 October 1983, No. 165, page 337. The area being bounded on the west side by a direct line from the intersection of the 16 km radius and the Whatawhata Road and the 8 km radius and Gunn Road and on the east side by a direct line from the intersection of the 16 km radius and Holland Road and the 8 km radius and P.O. access road except for a segment to the east of Hamilton from a direct line drawn from the intersection of Holland and Piako Roads to the intersection of the Matangi and Woodside Roads and from Matangi/Woodside intersection to the intersection of Forrest and Hooker Roads.

PURSUANT to section 74 of the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE.

  1. This notice may be cited as the Transport (Ellerslie Borough Council Bylaw No. 32 Disallowance) Notice No. 1, 1984.

  2. This notice shall come into force on its day of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  3. The Transport (Ellerslie Borough Council Bylaw No. 32 Disallowance) Notice No. 2, 1983* is hereby revoked.

  4. The Minister of Transport hereby disallows the Ellerslie Borough Council Bylaw No. 32 in part to the extent that it shall have effect only from the hour of 7 p.m. on each day to the hour of 7 a.m. on the following day.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

PURSUANT to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that supplementary agreements have been signed between the Minister of Education and the proprietors of the following schools:

Sacred Heart School, Dunedin
Marist Sisters’ College, Mount Albert
St Ignatius School, St Heliers
St Theresa’s School, Invercargill
St Peter’s School, Cambridge
St Mary’s School, Hamilton
St John’s College, New Plymouth.

The said supplementary integration agreements come into effect on 1 June 1984. Copies of the supplementary integration agreements are available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the Department of Education, Head Office, National Mutual Building, Featherston Street, Wellington and at regional offices.
