(d) All money received by the Authority in the performance or exercise of the functions, duties, or powers conferred on it by this order in respect of the foreshore, lakeshore, lakebed, riverbed, and waters to which this order applies, shall, after the deduction of any expenditure incurred by the Authority in the performance or exercise of these functions, duties or powers, be applied to the construction, repair, or improvement of facilities in respect of that foreshore, lakeshore, lakebed, riverbed, or those waters, and not otherwise.

  1. Powers of Authority—Subject to section 8A of the Act, the Authority may, in respect of the foreshore, lakeshore, lakebed, riverbed and waters to which this order applies—

(a) By bylaw, do anything which a Harbour Board may do by bylaw under section 232 of the Act;

(b) Appoint harbourmasters and other officers and define or limit their powers and duties.

  1. Procedure for making bylaws—Bylaws made by the Authority pursuant to sections 8A and 165 of the Act shall be made in the manner prescribed under section 232A(1)(ca) of the Act.

  2. Revocations—The following orders are hereby revoked:

(a) The Lake Wanaka Order 1966*

(b) The Lakes District Foreshore, Lake Shore, Lake Bed, River Bed and Waters Control Order 1980†

(c) The Lakes District Foreshore, Lake Shore, Lake Bed, River Bed and Waters Control Order 1980, Amendment No. 1.

SCHEDULE

ALL those areas of lakeshore, lakebed, riverbed and waters within the boundaries of the County of Lake, the Borough of Queenstown and the Borough of Arrowtown, excluding those areas within a national park but including the foreshore of Big Bay and the waters of Big Bay within 200 metres of the waters edge at Big Bay, such areas being more particularly shown coloured red on plan MD 16027, deposited in the office of the Secretary for Transport at Wellington.

Declaration that State Forest Land Ceases to be Part of Tararua State Forest Park

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 63B(2) of the Forests Act 1949, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the area of State forest land described in the Schedule hereto, having been set apart as part of the Tararua State Forest Park by a Proclamation published in New Zealand Gazette, 1976, page 1214, hereby ceases to be part of the Tararua State Forest Park as from the date of publication hereof.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

  1. This order may be cited as the Waitane Rural Fire District Order 1951, Amendment No. 3, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the order constituting the Waitane Rural Fire District made on the 17th day of April 1951* (hereinafter referred to as the principal order).

  2. This order shall come into force from the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

  3. The principal order is hereby amended by revoking the Schedule thereto and substituting the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT—SOUTHLAND COUNTY

ALL THAT area in the Southland Land District, Southland County, containing approximately 3200 hectares, situated in Blocks I, II, and VIII, Lindhurst Hundred and Blocks V, VII, and X, Waimumu Hundred and bounded generally as follows:
