Section A1: 1966 General requirements (including Amendments No. 1 to No. 4). Declared suitable subject to any radio-interference suppression devices complying with subclause (4) of regulation 126 of the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976.
Part 1: 1969 General Requirements (including Amendments No. 1 to No. 5). Declared suitable subject to the following conditions:
(i) Clause 2.17 being deleted and replaced with “Extra-low voltage” means any voltage normally not exceeding 32 volts alternating current or 50 volts direct current.
(ii) any radio-interference suppression device complying with subclause (4) of regulation 126 of the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976.

2.22 Safety extra-low voltage supply denotes a supply obtained from a source which is independent of the supply mains, or from the supply mains through a safety isolating transformer or converter with separate windings, this supply being such that the no-load voltage does not exceed 32V a.c. or 50V d.c. between conductors.
(iii) Clause 8.4. complying with Regulation 107 of the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976.
(iv) deleting “34” in clause 8.9 and substituting 32V a.c. or 50V d.c.
(v) Any associated accessory being of a type not prohibited from use in New Zealand.
