Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976

ACTING under delegated authority and pursuant to the provisions of regulation 18 (3) the following specifications are declared suitable for the purpose of the regulations:

British Standards

BS 3456: Part 1: 1969 General requirements (Incorporating Amendments No. 1 to No. 5) Declared suitable subject to the following conditions:
(i) clause 2.17 being deleted and replaced with “Extra-low voltage” means any voltage normally not exceeding 32 volts alternating current or 50 volts direct current.
(ii) any radio-interference suppression device complying with sub-clause (4) of regulation 126 of the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976.

BS 3456: Section 2.32:1974 Mains-operated electric lawnmowers (Incorporating Amendments No. 1 and 2)

Australian Standard

AS 1802: 1976 Training cables for mining purposes (including underground coal mines, open-cut mines, quarries and dredges) (Incorporating Amendment No. 1) Declared suitable subject to the cables being used in conjunction with residual current devices.

Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road, Part State Highway No. 1

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 18 May 1983 and pursuant to section 133 of the Public Works Act 1981, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 1, Drury to Pokeno section for a width of 13 metres on the western side for a length of 10 metres northwards from the northern boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. 40410 (certificate of title 1069/24) as more particularly shown on Sheet 1 of Plan L.A. 14/30/2 an accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Auckland South, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.
