Vesting a Reserve in the Wallace County Council

Pursuant to Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Deputy Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby vests the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, in The Wallace County Council in trust for a recreation reserve.

Classification of Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby declares the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, to be classified as a reserve for local purpose (soil conservation and river control), subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Classification of Reserve and Declaration that the Reserve be Part of the Mahakipawa Hill Scenic Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a reserve for scenic purposes pursuant to section 19(1)(a) of the said Act and subject to the provisions of the said Act, and further declares the said reserve to form part of the Mahakipawa Hill Scenic Reserve.

Change of the Classification of Reserve and Vesting in the Wairau Pa Marae Committee and Naming of Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Commissioner of Crown Lands, hereby changes the classification of the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, from a local purpose (site for a public hall) reserve to a local purpose (site for a marae) reserve, a further, vests the said reserve in the Wairau Pa Marae Committee, in trust, for that purpose, and further declares that the local purpose (site for a marae) reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, shall hereafter be known as the Wairau Pa Marae Reserve.

Pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows:

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Hamilton 1983, No. 4.

2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.
