Una Survey District to the westernmost corner of the last mentioned part Section 1; thence southerly, along the western boundaries of Sections 8 and 5, Block VI, Una Survey District to the south-western corner of the said Section 5; thence westerly, along a right line to the south-eastern corner of Section 4, Block VI, aforesaid; again westerly, along the southern boundary of the said Section 4, to peg III, S.O. Plan 7702; thence generally westerly, up the middle of an unnamed creek to its source on the summit of the western watershed of the Glenroy River about 2.9 kilometres north-west of Trig FZ; thence generally south-easterly, along that summit passing through Trig FZ and along the summit of the south-western boundary of the Glenroy River to the north-western boundary of the Lewis Pass Scenic Reserve (Gazette, 1981, page 3236) as described in Section 24, Reserves and Other Lands Disposal Act 1937 and defined on S.O. Plan 8971, thence generally north-easterly, along the north-western, north-eastern, again north-western and northern boundaries of the said Scenic Reserve, to summit of the Spenser Mountains, thence generally northerly along that summit and the summit of the Ella Range passing through Gloriana Peak, Faerie Queen, Mount Una, Mount Enid, Mount Humboldt, and Mount Ella to the source of the north branch of Peak Creek on the summit of the Ella Range, about 400 metres south of Mount Watson, generally south-westerly down the middle of the north branch of Peak Creek to the confluence with the south branch of Peak Creek; thence southerly, along a right line to Trig Sub Ella; thence south-easterly, along a right line to Trig Downie; thence south-westerly, along a right line to the confluence of Rough and Tumble Creek with Burn Creek; thence northerly, along a right line to Trig Junction; again northerly, along a right line to Trig NA the point of commencement. Excluding therefrom all legal roads.

Revocation of Delegated District Court-martial Warrant
TO: The Air Officer Commanding, RNZAF Operations Group
WHEREAS I, David Manson Crooks, O.B.E., Chief of Air Staff of the Royal New Zealand Air Force, am empowered by Warrant from the Governor-General to delegate to any officer under my command or jurisdiction not below the rank of squadron leader a general authority to convene General Courts-martial for the trial of any person who is subject to the Royal New Zealand Air Force Act 1950 and also to confirm the findings and sentences thereof to be put into execution so far as he may lawfully do:
And whereas by Warrant dated the 28th day of January 1982, general authority was delegated to you to convene District Courts-martial and to confirm the findings and certain sentences thereof:
And whereas the circumstances which gave rise to that Warrant no longer exist:
Now therefore, I hereby cancel and revoke my said Warrant this 3rd day of May 1983.

Delegated District Court-martial Warrant
TO: Air Officer Commanding, RNZAF Operations Group
I, Air Vice-Marshal David Manson Crooks, O.B.E., Chief of Air Staff of the Royal New Zealand Air Force, being duly authorised by Warrant from the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand pursuant to the Royal New Zealand Air Force Act 1950 do hereby in the exercise of the powers and authorities thereby conferred on me authorise and empower you from time to time and as occasion may require to convene District Courts-martial for the trial of such persons subject to air force law as are for the time being under or within the territorial limits of your command or jurisdiction who shall be charged with any offence against the Royal New Zealand Air Force Act 1950 for which they may be tried by Court-martial whether such offence shall have been committed before or after you shall have taken up your command or appointment
And I do hereby authorise and empower you to confirm the findings and sentences of District Courts-martial but not any sentence of discharge with ignominy from Her Majestyโs Service or imprisonment or detention exceeding twelve months or any greater punishment and to cause any sentence thereof to be put into execution so far as you may lawfully do
And I direct that the proceedings of every District Court-martial convened by you where power to confirm is restricted by the terms of this Warrant, shall be reserved for confirmation by me in accordance with this Warrant
And for executing the several powers, matters and things herein expressed this Warrant shall be to you and to others whom it may concern a sufficient Warrant and authority
And I declare that this Warrant shall without ratification extend to and invest with the aforesaid authorities and powers your successors and any officer for the time being lawfully acting as Air Officer Commanding RNZAF Operations Group.

Air Vice Marshal D. E. Jamieson, C.B., O.B.E., to be acting Air Marshal with effect from 14 April 1983, Air Marshal with seniority and effect from 16 April 1983 and is appointed Chief of Defence Staff for a period terminating on 16 October 1986.
CHIEF OF AIR STAFF
Air Commodore D. M. Crooks, O.B.E., to be acting Air Vice Marshal with effect from 11 April 1983, Air Vice Marshal with seniority and effect from 16 April 1983 and is appointed Chief of Air Staff for a period of 3 years.
Appointments
Flight Lieutenant F. H. Parker to be temp. Squadron Leader with effect from 19 March 1983.
Bruce Russell Clark is transferred from the Reserve of Air Force Officers in the rank of Flight Lieutenant, with seniority from 18 January 1980 and effect from 18 January 1983.
Promotions
Flight Lieutenant M. W. Sinclair to be Squadron Leader with seniority and effect from 19 March 1983.

Wing Commander (acting Group Captain) B. P. Bygate relinquishes the acting rank of Group Captain with effect from 27 January 1983.
Extension of Commission
The commission of Squadron Leader D. V. Monti is extended to 3 July 1990.
The commission of Flight Lieutenant R. G. Read is extended to 7 February 2002.
Extension of Commission and Age for Retirement
The commission and age for retirement of Squadron Leader P. H. White are extended to 18 September 1989.
Transfer
Flight Lieutenant V. Surendonk is transferred to the Administrative and Supply Branch, Special Duties Division, in his present rank and seniority with effect from 1 February 1983.
Transfer to Reserve
Squadron Leader David Joseph Comber is transferred to the Reserve of Air Force Officers until 9 March 1985, with effect from 10 March 1983.
