Board Appointed to Have Control of Lake Rotoiti Scenic Reserves
PURSUANT to sections 18, 19, and 20 of the Maori Purposes Act 1931 and the Reserves Act 1977, the Minister of Lands, hereby appoints—
The Commissioner of Crown Lands for the South Auckland Land District, ex officio,
The District Manager Tourist Bureau, Rotorua, ex officio,
Bertram Kingi,
Mata Morehu,
Pirikawana William Taiatini,
Matiu Tamehana,
Derek Te Ariki Morehu,

Kahui Samuel Emery,
to be a special board by the name of the Lake Rotoiti Scenic Reserve Board to have control of the reserves, described in the Schedules hereto, subject to the provisions of the Reserves Act 1977, as scenic reserves.

Part Waione 3B, part Paehinahina 1, 2, 3. Part Te Taheke 2B, parts Kuharua and Kuharua 1B, Motumauri Island, Taheke Papakainga 5B, Pateko Island, Thirangi Urupa and Oremu Urupa. Approval of Qualified Person for the Purposes of Section 402, Companies Act 1955
PURSUANT to section 402 of the Companies Act 1955, I hereby approve—

a partner in the firm of Lithgow Nelson and Company, Southport, England and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales to be a qualified person for the purposes of that section in respect of the accountants of Martin and Martin Export Ltd.

Notice of Intent to Take Land
IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1981, and in the matter of the Local Government Act 1974:
NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington Regional Council duly constituted under the provisions of the Local Government Act 1974 and being a local authority within the meaning of the Public Works Act 1981 proposed under the provisions of the above Act to execute a public work namely river protection and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken for river protection purposes.
And notice is hereby further given that the land so required to be taken is shown on a plan lodged at the offices of the Chief Surveyor, Lands and Survey Department, Wellington, and there numbered Survey Office Plan No. 32563 a copy whereof is exhibited at the offices of the Council at 203/209 Willis Street, Wellington and is there available for inspection by all persons without fee during ordinary office hours.
All persons who are affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land and who have any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land should state their objections in writing and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Secretary of the Planning Tribunal, care of Tribunals Division, Private Bag, Postal Centre, Wellington.
If any objection is received, a public hearing of such objection will, unless the objector otherwise requires, be held and each objector will be advised of the time, date, and place thereof.

ALL that parcel of land situated in the City of Upper Hutt contained in Deeds Index 3/123 in the name of C. H. Izard described as follows:
1.1519 hectares being part Section 116, Hutt District, situate in Block XIII, Akatarawa Survey District and being the land shown marked “A” on Survey Office Plan No. 32563 and designated thereon as “Masefield Street.”
