The Timaru City Council Electric Lines Licence 1965, Amendment No. 2

PURSUANT to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Energy, hereby amends the Timaru City Council Electric Lines Licence 1965* as amended by the amendment specified in the Schedule hereto by deleting paragraphs 2 and 3 of the First Schedule and substituting the following paragraphs:

“2. Lines for the transmission of electrical energy commencing at the Electricity Division of the Ministry of Energy’s Timaru sub-station and proceeding in a south-westerly direction to and along both sides of Old North Road to its junction with Selwyn Street; thence south-easterly along both sides of Selwyn Street to the northern boundary of the licencee’s area of supply the said lines being more particularly shown by means of red lines on plan NZE 1046 deposited in the office of the Electricity Division, Ministry of Energy at Wellington.

3. Lines for the transmission of telemetering impulses, metering timing impulses, and pilot wire cable protection, by means of armoured underground communications type cables along the route described in paragraph 2 of this Schedule the said lines being more particularly shown by means of red lines on the said plan marked NZE 1046 (pages 1 to 5)”.
