Shooting hours: 6.15 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.
Decoy limit: No limit.

Special Conditions

In the Tauranga Harbour no maimai shall be erected that will impede the use of navigable channels and waters of the harbours.
Maimais erected in the Tauranga Harbour must be dismantled and removed at the close of the season.
Pursuant to the Wildlife Amendment Act 1981 and subject to the conditions of this notice, approval is given for persons to hunt or kill game from unmoored camouflaged rowboats on the estuarine waters of Tauranga Harbour.

(Area B—all that area that lies east of State Highway No. 1, including the flooded of the Waitaki River)	30 April 1983 to 31 October 1983 incl. and 4 February 1984 to 25 March 1984 incl.

Shooting hours: 6.30 a.m. to 7 p.m. except that during the period 1 June 1983 to 25 March 1984 inclusive, Canada goose may be hunted or killed 24 hours per day, during the specified open season.
Decoy limit: Wainono Lagoon: maximum 25; rest of district: no limit.

Special Conditions

No person shall, for the purposes of hunting or killing game, build, or attempt to build, any stand, hide, shelter, maimai, mudhole, loo, louvre, or position before 9 a.m. on 2 April 1983.

Special Conditions

It shall be an offence to hunt or kill game from any unmoored boat on the Turakina River during the first two days of the open season for game only, being Saturday 30 April 1983 and Sunday 1 May 1983.

Paradise duck (Wairarapa area: Featherston County, Wairarapa South County and Masterton County). (A close season shall apply for paradise duck in the unspecified areas of the district)	30 April to 8 May 1983 incl.

Pursuant to the Wildlife Amendment Act 1981 and subject to the conditions of this notice, commencing on 2 May and for the duration of the 1983 open season for game, approval is given for persons to hunt or kill game from unmoored camouflaged rowboats within the Wellington Acclimatisation District.
