Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a meeting place to be named Wai-ora Marae for the common use and benefit of the Maori people and community of Ngataki.

PURSUANT to section 210 of the Coal Mines Act 1979, the Minister of Energy has been pleased to appoint:

to be a member of the Board of Examiners from 1 April 1983 to 31 March 1986.

Christchurch City Council Electric Supply Temporary Licence

I, William Francis Birch, Minister of Energy, acting pursuant to section 20A of the Electricity Act 1968, hereby issue a temporary licence to the Christchurch City Council to supply electricity, and to lay, construct, put up, place, and use all electric lines and works which may from time to time be required for the distribution and supply of electricity within the area specified in the Schedule hereto.

This licence is issued subject to the following conditions:

  1. This temporary licence may be cited as the Christchurch City Council Electricity Supply Temporary Licence 1983.

  2. The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1976, and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976, shall be incorporated herein, and shall form part of this licence except in so far as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence.

  3. The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1976, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976, and with all regulations made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor, except in so far as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence.

  4. The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (f), and (h) of regulation 15 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1976.

  5. The lines and cables described in paragraphs 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14 of the Schedule hereto shall not be used by the licensee for the purpose of supply to any consumer of the Riccarton Borough Council, the Heathcote County Council, or the Central Canterbury Electric Power Board in their respective supply areas.

  6. This temporary licence issued under section 20A of the Electricity Act 1968, shall be in force for a period beginning the 1st day of April 1983 and ending with the 31st day of March 1985 or the earlier issue of a licence under section 20 of the Electricity Act 1968.

SCHEDULE
ALL those lines and cables and all that area described in Gazette, 1935, p. 554 and as shown on plans marked NZE 997, 998, and 1015, deposited in the Ministry of Energy, Electricity Division at Wellington.

Lyttelton Borough Council Electricity Supply Temporary Licence 1983

I, William Francis Birch, Minister of Energy, acting pursuant to section 20A of the Electricity Act 1968, hereby issue a temporary licence to the Lyttelton Borough Council to supply electricity, and to lay, construct, put up, place, and use all electric lines and works which may from time to time be required for the distribution and supply of electricity within the area specified in the Schedule hereto.

This licence is issued subject to the following conditions:

CONDITIONS

  1. This licence may be cited as the Lyttelton Borough Council Electricity Supply Temporary Licence 1983.

  2. The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1976, shall be incorporated herein and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence.

  3. The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1976, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976, and with all regulations made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor, except in so far as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence.

  4. The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (f), and (h) of regulation 15 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1976.

  5. Those electric lines which the licensee is authorised by this licence to erect and use for the purpose of supply within the supply areas of the Christchurch City Council and the Heathcote County Council shall be used by the licensee solely for the supply of the licensee’s waterworks installations and for the supply of the consumer referred to in paragraph 3 (b)(ii) of Gazette, 1980, p. 3076.

  6. This temporary licence issued under section 20A of the Electricity Act 1968, shall be in force for a period beginning 1st day of March 1985 or the earlier issue of a licence under section 20 of the Electricity Act 1968.
