The Traffic (Southland County) Notice No. 2, 1983

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Southland County) Notice No. 2, 1983.

The road specified in the First Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 70 kilometres an hour speed limit area pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The Traffic (Southland County) Notice No. 3, 1973, dated the 27th day of September 1973†, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956 is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Southland County at Wallacetown:

No. 99 State Highway (Tuatapere–Lorneville) (from a point 360 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said State Highway from Dunlop Street to a point 280 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said State Highway from Dunlop Street).

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Southland County at Wallacetown:

Aloway Street.
Alpha Street.
Ballantrae Street.
Collean Street (from Dunlop Street to the western end of Collean Street).
Cumnock Street.
Dalwharn Street.
Dunlop Street (from No. 99 State Highway [Tuatapere–Lorneville] to a point 200 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said street from Irvine Street).
Girvan Street.
Irvine Street (from Alpha Street to a point 50 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said street from Dunlop Street).
Kilmarnock Street.
Kirkbride Street (from Large Street to a point 50 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said street from Cumnock Street).

Sale of Northland Harbour Board Land

I, George Frederick Gair, Minister of Transport, having obtained the concurrence of the Minister of Finance pursuant to section 143A (3) of the Harbours Act 1950, hereby approve pursuant to sections 143A (1) (a) and 143C (1) (a) of the Harbours Act 1950, the sale of the land referred to in the Schedule by the Northland Harbour Board pursuant to section 143C of the said Act, and I specify that my approval hereunder is effective from the date hereof.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land in the Land Registration District of Auckland being parts of Sections 12 and 13, Block XXIII, Town of Opua containing 1156 square metres and being all the land described in certificate of title 72/31, subject to easement and rights of way created by Transfers 659759, 661692, and 661693.

Sale of Northland Harbour Board Land

I, George Frederick Gair, Minister of Transport, having obtained the concurrence of the Minister of Finance pursuant to section 143A (3) of the Harbours Act 1950, hereby approve pursuant to section 143A (1) (a) and section 143C (1) (a) of the Harbours Act 1950, the sale of the land referred to in the Schedule hereto by the Northland Harbour Board pursuant to section 143C of the said Act, and I specify that my approval hereunder is effective from the date hereof.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land in the Land Registration District of North Auckland, being part Allotment 135, Parish of Maungatapere on Deposited Plan 23887, Block XVI, Purua Survey District, containing 2.7038 hectares and being all that land described in certificate of title 17D/67, subject to Electricity Transmission and Water Easement created by Transfer A382636.

I, George Frederick Gair, Minister of Transport, having obtained the concurrence of the Minister of Finance pursuant to section 143A (3) of the Harbours Act 1950, hereby approve pursuant to section 143C (1) (b) (i) of the said Act, the sale of the land referred to in the Schedule hereto by the Northland Harbour Board, and I specify that my approval is effective from the date hereof.

ALL that parcel of land in the Land Registration District of North Auckland, being part Allotment 135, Parish of Maungatapere on Deposited Plan 23887, Block XVI, Purua Survey District containing 6,977 square metres and being all that land described in certificate of title 17D/68, subject to Electricity Transmission and Water Easements created by Transfer A. 382636.
