The Road Classification (National Roads Board) Notice No. 5, 1983
PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974*, and pursuant to the powers delegated to me by the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, hereby give the following notice:
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (National Roads Board) Notice No. 5, 1983.

It is hereby declared, as requested by the National Roads Board, that the State Highways as set out in the Schedule hereto shall belong to the class set out in the said Schedule.

So much of the notice dated the 13th day of June 1980† which relates to the classification of the highways described in the Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.
SCHEDULE
CLASSIFIED IN CLASS ONE
No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne): from Otamarakau Valley Road (RP. 189/19.27) to the Board Mills entrance, Whakatane (RP. 241/2.56).
No. 30 State Highway (Te Kuiti-Whakatane via Atiamuri): from the junction with No. 33 State Highway (Te Ngae-Paengaroa) at Te Ngae (RP. 158/0.00) to the junction with No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne) at Whakatane (RP. 226/0.00).

Consent to Raising of Loans by Certain Local Authorities
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the undersigned Deputy Secretary to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to the Secretary to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities, mentioned in the Schedule hereto, of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in the Schedule.

Area of Lake Taupo Reserved for Bathing
PURSUANT to regulation 25 of the Lake Taupo Regulations 1976, the Secretary for Local Government hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

The area of the waters of Lake Taupo specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby reserved for bathing.

This notice shall come into force on the 30th day of December 1983 and shall expire on the 30th day of April 1984.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area of the waters of Tapuaeharuru Bay, Lake Taupo, in front of the carpark on State Highway One and between Pataka Street and Taharepa Road. The area is bounded by parallel lines extending from either end of the said carpark out to a distance of 150 metres from the lake margin at normal lake level in a direction of 220 degrees true.

Advertising of Names of Applicants' for Duty Concessions
IN line with the concept contained in the Official Information Act 1982, and the Customs Department's policy to be as open as practicable in the administration of the duty concession system, as from 1 March 1984, the names of applicants for duty concessions will be advertised in Tariff notices along with the details currently given.
At the department's discretion, consideration will be given to requests not to publish the applicant's name where publication will jeopardize a commercial operation.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975
PURSUANT to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that supplementary integration agreements have been signed between the Minister of Education and the Proprietors of the following schools:
McAuley High School, Otahuhu; and
Sacred Heart Girls' College, Hamilton
The said supplementary integration agreements will come into effect on 26 November 1983. Copies of the supplementary integration agreement are available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the Department of Education, Head Office, National Mutual Building, Featherston Street, Wellington and at regional offices.
