Declaring Land Acquired for Railway Purposes at St. Georges Road

PURSUANT to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the General Manager of the New Zealand Railways Corporation hereby declares that an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for and on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen for railway purposes.

Authorisation of Erection and Maintenance of a Non-Conforming Traffic Sign

PURSUANT to subclause (6) of regulation 129 of the Traffic Regulations 1976*, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice:

NOTICE

THE erection and maintenance of a non-conforming supplementary parking sign described in the Schedule hereto is hereby authorised.

SCHEDULE
THE traffic sign authorised to be erected by this notice shall comply with the following description.

Name of Sign: Residents Supplementary Parking Sign.
Shape and Size: Rectangular at least 300 mm wide, 450 mm high, or more if necessary to accommodate the legend comfortably.
Background Colour: Yellow.
Border: Red, 15 mm width.
Legend: Except Vehicles Displaying () Area (X) Resident Parking Permit.

Sale of Wanganui Harbour Board Land

I, George Frederick Gair, Minister of Transport, having obtained the concurrence of the Minister of Finance pursuant to section 143A (3) of the Harbours Act 1950, hereby approve pursuant to section 143A (1) (a) and section 143C (1) (b) (i) of the Harbours Act 1950, the sale of the land referred to in the Schedule hereto by the Wanganui Harbour Board pursuant to section 143C of the said Act and I specify that my approval hereunder is effective from the date hereof.

ALL that parcel of land in the Land Registration District of Wellington, being Lot 14 on Deposited Plan 3837, containing 567 square metres, more or less, and being all that land described in certificate of title 6A/831.
