Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Chartered Club—Auckland Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A and 221B of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Stanley James Callahan, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Auckland Licensing Committee on 11 October 1983 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the chartered club known as the Silverdale and District Returned Services Association Club Incorporated, Silverdale.

To the intent that on days other than those on which chartered clubs are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to its members the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday, Saturday, and Christmas Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

(c) On any New Year’s Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing 0.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday, Saturday, and Christmas Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

(c) On any New Year’s Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 0.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.

Private School Conditional Integration Act 1975

PURSUANT to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that a supplementary integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education and the proprietor of the following school:

Mount Carmel School, Meadowbank, Auckland.

The said supplementary integration agreement will come into effect on 16 October 1983. Copies of the supplementary integration agreement are available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the Department of Education, Head Office, National Mutual Building, Featherston Street, Wellington and at regional offices.

Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road Part State Highway No. 2

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 19 October 1983 and pursuant to section 153 of the Public Works Act 1981, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 2 Ormond to Makaraka section for half its width on the eastern side across the frontages of Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 6676, certificate of title 4C/1024 and certificate of title 4C/1025 respectively as more particularly shown on Sheet 1 of Plan L.A. 31/12/1 and accompanying schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Gisborne and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.
