NAPIER CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

Notice is hereby given that the Napier City Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1981, to execute certain public works, namely the provision of access ways between Faraday Street and Hooker Avenue, Colenso Avenue and Milton Road, Faraday Street and May Avenue, and for the purpose of such public works the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken for access ways.

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Napier City Council situate in Hastings Street, Napier, and is there open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public works or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objections to the execution of the said public works or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation set forth such objection in writing and send the same within 30 days of the first publication of this notice to the Registrar, Planning Tribunal, Tribunals Division, Justice Department, Private Bag, Postal Centre, Wellington.

If any objection is made in accordance with this notice; a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE
HAWKES BAY LAND DISTRICT
Block IV Heretaunga Survey District

Firstly all that narrow portion of land between Faraday Street and Hooker Avenue containing 537 square metres, more or less and being past suburban Section 40, Napier, as the same is shown marked “A” on S.O. Plan 7990, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Napier;

Secondly all that narrow portion of land between Colenso Avenue and Milton Road containing 190 square metres, more or less and being past suburban Section 44, Napier, as the same is shown marked “B” on S.O. Plan 7990 lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Napier;

And thirdly all that narrow portion of land between Faraday Street and May Avenue containing 296 square metres, more or less and being past suburban Section 39, Napier, as the same is shown marked “C” on S.O. Plan 7990 lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Napier.

NEW ZEALAND WOOL BOARD

Pursuant to regulation 15 of the Wool Industry Regulations 1978, notice is hereby given that the Adjusted Weighted Average Sale Price for the sale held on the 10th day of February at Wellington was 256.02 cents per kilogram (greasy basis).

As this price is below the Government’s supplementary minimum wool price of 320 cents per kilogram (greasy basis) the specified percentage for supplementation will be 25 percent for all wool sold at auction and nationally for privately sold wool from and including the 10th day of February 1983, until midnight on the day before the next auction sale to be held.

As this price is below the Government’s supplementary minimum wool price of 320 cents per kilogram (greasy basis) the specified percentage for supplementation will be 24.9 percent for all wool sold at auction and nationally for privately sold wool from and including the 11th day of February 1983, until midnight on the day before the next auction sale to be held.
