DILWORTH TRUSTEES EMPOWERING ACT 1983

AN Act to further and vary the terms of the Trusts governing the administration by the Dilworth Trust Board of its property and to enable it to enter into an integration agreement in terms of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975.

The Dilworth Trust Board being the promoter of the above-mentioned Bill hereby gives notice of its intention to apply for leave to bring in or introduce the Bill during this present session of Parliament.

The Bill proposes to make provision relating to the grounds on which enrolment might be refused at an integrated school established by integration agreement between the Minister of Education and the Dilworth Trust Board and to generally empower the Dilworth Trust Board to enter into an integration agreement and to remove any obligation of the Dilworth Trust Board to solicit and approve applications in respect of boys resident in the Ulster Province of Northern Ireland to be selected and maintained as pupils of Dilworth School.

Communications or notices to the promoter of the Bill may be sent to the Secretary, Dilworth Trust Board, Erin Street, Epsom, Auckland 3, and a copy of the Bill may be inspected at the office of the Dilworth Trust Board at the same address during usual business hours.

AUCKLAND REGIONAL AUTHORITY

REVOCATION OF THE DECLARATION OF LAND FOR ROAD IMPROVEMENT

NOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance of the powers vested in it by section 373 of the Local Government Act 1974 and of any and every other power enabling it in that behalf the Auckland Regional Authority hereby resolves that the existing declaration (made by resolution of the Authority) that the land described in the Schedule hereto was required for Highway Improvement pursuant to Section 34L of the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963 (which said resolution and declaration have effect as if made under the said section 373 of the Local Government Act 1974) be revoked.

AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL

RECREATIONAL DEVELOPMENTS—GLEN INNES POOL

The Auckland City Council is shortly to consider the addition of various water-related attractions and other appropriate recreational amenities at the Glen Innes indoor swimming pool.

Individuals and organisations who may wish to investigate their involvement under a “build and operate” arrangement are invited to either write to the City Secretary, Auckland City Council, Private Bag, Wellesley Street Post Office, Auckland 1, indicating their interest or to call Mr R. N. Larkin, Telephone 792-020, Ext. 706, to arrange a meeting to discuss the concept of Council’s proposal and an inspection of the present pool facility prior to developing their ideas and financing.

An indication of interest is required by end of October 1983.

NOTICE OF PROPOSED CREATION OF CLEAN AIR ZONE

THE Malvern County Council advises that a recommendation has been made that a Clean Air Zone be created affecting all the areas of the County zoned Rural D excluding the Commercial Area and within certain time limits Lots 1 and 2, Deposited Plan 22544, being generally the Castle Hill Village area. The proposed zone will exclude the use of unauthorised fuel burning equipment and unauthorised fuel.

A copy of the Council’s Resolution together with a map showing the areas affected can be inspected at the offices of the County, South Terrace, Darfield during normal office hours.

Anyone wishing to object to the proposed Clean Air Zone may do so by submitting a notice in writing to the Minister of Health, Parliament Buildings, Wellington, and must lodge a copy of this notice of objection with the County. These notices must be delivered before the 28th November 1983.
