Medical Practitioner Specified as a Medical Practitioner Who May Prescribe, Administer, or Supply Controlled Drugs for the Purpose of Treating Persons Dependent on Controlled Drugs

NOTICE is hereby given that the Minister of Health, pursuant to section 24(5)(a) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1975, has specified Martin Frederick Harris as a medical practitioner who may prescribe, administer or supply controlled drugs for the purpose of treating persons dependent on controlled drugs.

Insurance Companies’ Deposits Act 1953, Proposed Release of Deposit

THE Fidelity Bonding and Insurance Company of New Zealand Limited has given notice to the public trustee that is has ceased to carry on the class of insurance business designated as Class 4 in the First Schedule to the above mentioned Act and that it proposes to withdraw pursuant to section 19 of such Act the deposits which have been made by it with the Public Trustee.

The public trustee therefore gives notice pursuant to section 19(3) of the above mentioned Act, that, being satisfied that all liabilities of the said company in New Zealand in respect of such insurance business have been fully paid or provided for he proposes to release to the company on or after the 10th day of June 1983 the deposit made with him by the company.

Any objections to the release of the deposit should be lodged with the public trustee at the Public Trust Office, 117-129 Lambton Quay, Wellington 1, on or before the 30th day of October, 1983.
