THE RIGHT HON. D. L. THOMSON PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 138 (1) (b) of the Public Works Act 1981, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares
that the land and structures described in the Schedule hereto shall,
on and after the date of publication of this Order in Council in the
Gazette, be a motorway.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL those traffic lanes, shoulders, and verges forming that portion
of public highway commencing at the junction of Beachcroft Avenue
and Neilson Street in the Borough of Onehunga, including the
connections to or from Neilson Street and Glonster Park Road, and
proceeding in a south-easterly direction onto and including the
Mangere Motorway Bridge deck and then in a southerly direction
for a distance of approximately 2 kilometres and terminating at the
junction with Coronation Road in the City of Manukau
approximately 200 metres north of the Coronation Road-Walmsey
Road intersection, including the crossing under Rimu Road and
the ramp connections to and from Rimu Road in the City of
Manukau.

As shown on Plan 1/86/21/3104/1, deposited in the office of the
Minister of Works and Development at Wellington, and thereon
coloured red.

PURSUANT to the National Roads Act 1953, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of
the Executive Council, hereby appoints Ronald Benjamin Fisher,
an officer of the Ministry of Works and Development, to be a
member of the National Roads Board in place of Thomas Graeme
Shadwell and further hereby revokes an Order in Council dated the
2nd day of May 1962, published in the Gazette of 31 May 1962,
No. 35, at page 851, appointing the person holding the position in
the Ministry of Works and Development of Director of Roading
to be a member of the National Roads Board.
