Omapere Fire District Notice 1983
PURSUANT to section 26 of the Fire Service Act 1975, the New Zealand Fire Service Commission gives the following notice.
NOTICE
- Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Omapere Fire District Notice 1983.
(2) This notice shall come into effect on the 1st day of October 1983.
(3) The boundaries of the Omapere Fire District shall be as defined in the following Schedule.
SCHEDULE
OMAPERE FIRE DISTRICT
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, County of Hokianga containing 220 hectares, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the line of mean high water of the Hokianga Harbour in line with the north-eastern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 84442 in Block VI, Hokianga Survey District and proceeding south-easterly to the northernmost corner of Lot 2, D.P. 84442; thence south-westerly and south-easterly along the north-western and south-western boundaries of Lot 2, D.P. 84442 to the northernmost corner of part Taumatawiwi Block contained in certificate of title 43B/1033; thence south-westerly along the north-western boundary of that block and its production to the northern boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 58961; thence southerly generally along the western boundary of title 43B/1033 and its production to the left bank of Waiarohia Stream in Block VII, Hokianga Survey District; thence westerly generally and southerly along the northern and western boundaries of Maungaroa part B Block to its south-westernmost corner; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 75761 and its production to the northern boundary of Kokohuia Part C Block; thence southerly along the western boundaries of that block, Taiwhatiwhati 1K and Part 1A Blocks contained in certificate of title 205/33 to its south-western corner; thence easterly along the southern boundaries of Taiwhatiwhati part 1A contained in certificate of title 205/33, 1E and 1F Blocks to the north-eastern corner of Lot 1, D.P. 95662, thence southerly along the eastern boundary of that Lot 1 and its production to the northern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 95945; thence south-westerly generally south-easterly and north-easterly along the generally north-western, south-western and south-eastern boundaries of Lot 2, D.P. 95945 to the easternmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. 95501; thence north-easterly along a right line to the northern corner of Lot 2, D.P. 65960; thence south-easterly and south-westerly along the south-western and north-western boundaries of part Lot 1, D.P. 52202 to the south-westernmost corner of that part Lot 1; thence south-westerly along the north-western boundary of Waiwhatawhata part 1A3B2 Block to the southernmost corner of Waiwhatawhata 1A3B1 and along a right line to the south-easternmost corner of Waiwhatawhata part 1A3A and along its southern boundary to its southernmost corner and along a right line to the south-eastern corner of Lot 2, D.P. 95672; thence north-easterly and north-westerly generally along the south-eastern and generally north-eastern boundaries of that Lot 2 to the south-eastern corner of Lot 1, D.P. 95672 in Block IX, Hokianga Survey District; thence northerly along the eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 95672 to the easternmost corner of that Lot 1, thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundaries of that Lot 1 and Lot 1, D.P. 95232 to its intersection with the southern boundary of Section 3, Block IX, Hokianga Survey District; thence easterly and northerly along the southern and eastern boundaries of that Section 3 to its intersection with the line of mean high water of the Hokianga Harbour; thence north-easterly along that line of mean high water to the point of commencement; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan numbered OPS 4/1/1B22 and deposited in the National Headquarters of the New Zealand Fire Service, at Wellington and thereon bordered red.

The Electoral Main Rolls Closing Notice 1983
PURSUANT to section 61 (2) (b) of the Electoral Act 1956, the Chief Registrar of Electors hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
- Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Electoral Main Rolls Closing Notice 1983.
(2) This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its publication in the Gazette.
- Date for closing of main rolls—The main roll for every General electoral district and for every Maori electoral district shall close on the 9th day of September 1983.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
This note is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This notice closes, as at 9 September 1983, the main rolls for all electoral districts. This enables the main rolls to be printed and published as at that date. They will then be available to the public for checking.
The Electoral Act 1956 requires that this printing of the rolls be done at least once in each year.
Insurance Companies’ Deposits Act 1953—Proposed Release of Deposit
THE General Accident Reinsurance Company Limited (formerly known as The London and Provincial Marine and General Insurance Company Limited) has given notice to the Public Trustee that is has never carried on business in New Zealand and that it proposes to withdraw the deposit which has been made by it pursuant to section 3 of the above-mentioned Act.
The Public Trustee therefore gives notice pursuant to section 19 (3) of the above-mentioned Act, that, being satisfied that no moneys are insured or contracted to be insured by the company in or by policies and other contracts issued, granted, or entered into in New Zealand by the company, he proposes to release to the company on or after the 31st day of August 1983 the deposit made with him by the company.
Any objections to the release of the deposit should be lodged with the Public Trustee at the Public Trust Office, 117–129 Lambton Quay, Wellington 1, on or before the 24th day of August 1983.

Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road, Part State Highway No. 1
It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 20 July 1983 and pursuant to section 153 of the Public Works Act 1981, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 1, Ohingaiti to McIntyre Road, for a width of 13 metres on the eastern side across the frontages of part Lot 1, D.P. 5302 (certificate of title 21C/980) and Lot 1, D.P. 51590 (certificate of title 21C/979), in Block XVI, Tiriraukawa S.D., as more particularly shown on Sheet 1 of plan L.A. 43/11/4 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Wanganui, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.
