Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road—Part State Highway No. 4
It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 20 July 1983 and pursuant to section 153 of the Public Works Act 1981, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 4 junction with State Highway No. 40 to Okahukura, for half its width on the northern side for 100 metres eastward from State Highway No. 40 across the frontage of Lot 1, D.P. 13296 (certificate of title F4/592) and for 150 metres across the frontages of Lot 1, D.P. 11804 (certificate of title D3/1057) and Lot 2, D.P. 13296 (certificate of title F4/593) being approximately 1.3 km east of State Highway No. 40 junction as more particularly shown on Sheet 1 of plan L.A. 41/52/3 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Taumarunui and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

Notice of Approval of Red Reflectors in Terms of the Traffic Regulations 1976
NOTICE
PURSUANT to regulation 88 (1) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*, and pursuant to the powers delegated to me by the Secretary for Transport, I, Glen Livsrage, Assistant Chief Automotive Engineer, hereby approve for the purpose of regulations 62 (2) and (3) of the said regulations, red reflectors of the make and type described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
RED reflectors manufactured to E.C.E. No. 3 specification and incorporated in tail lamp assemblies fitted as standard equipment to Ford Telstar Notchback and Hatchback model vehicles, bearing the following identification:
Stanley RR 6837 Japan R-438, and
Stanley RR 6835 Japan R-434

Exemption of Certain Motor Vehicles from the Height Restriction for Front Direction-Indicators and Forward-facing Side Lamps
NOTICE
PURSUANT to regulation 90 (1) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*, and pursuant to the powers delegated to me by the Secretary for Transport, I, Glen Livsrage, Assistant Chief Automotive Engineer, hereby exempt motor vehicles of the type specified in the Schedule hereto from the requirements of subclause 3 (a) of regulation 59 and subclause 2 (a) of regulation 63 of the said regulations, in respect of the maximum height of 1.5 metres that the forward-facing side lamp and front direction-indicator may be mounted above the ground.
SCHEDULE
ANY Isuzu model JCR, JCS or SBR series commercial vehicle, whenever first registered.
