Sale of Taranaki Harbours Board Land

I, George Frederick Gair, Minister of Transport, having obtained the concurrence of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to section 143A (3) of the Harbours Act 1950, hereby approve pursuant to section 143A (1) (a) and section 143C (1) (b) (i) of the said Act, the sale of land referred to in the Schedule hereto by the Taranaki Harbours Board pursuant to section 143C of the said Act, and I specify that my approval hereunder is effective from the date thereof.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land in the Land Registration District of Taranaki being Lot 1 on Deposited Plan 5364, containing 486 square metres, more or less, and being part Section H, New Plymouth Town Belt and being part of the land described in certificates of title A2/748 and 137/140.

Sale of Lyttelton Harbour Board Land

I, George Frederick Gair, Minister of Transport, having obtained the concurrence of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to section 143A (3) of the Harbours Act 1950, hereby approve pursuant to section 143A (1) (a) and section 143C (b) (ii) of the Harbours Act 1950, the sale by way of exchange of land referred to in the Schedule hereto by the Lyttelton Harbour Board pursuant to section 143C of the said Act, and I specify that my approval hereunder is effective from the date hereof.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land in the Land Registration District of Canterbury being Lot 4 on Deposited Plan 21206, being part town Sections 543 and 545, containing 579 square metres and being part of the land described in certificate of title 2C/245.

The said parcel of land is more particularly shown as “B” on plan M.D. 16170 which is held in the office of the Secretary for Transport at Wellington.

The Traffic (Wallace County) Notice No. 2, 1983

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice:

NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Wallace County) Notice No. 2, 1983.

The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 70 kilometres an hour speed limit area pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Wallace County at Wairio:

Wairio Main Road: from the Otatau-Nightcaps Road to a point 700 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said road from the Otatau-Nightcaps Road.

Notice of Approval of Rear and Red Reflectors in Terms of the Traffic Regulations 1976

NOTICE

PURSUANT to regulations 88 of the Traffic Regulations 1976*, and pursuant to the powers delegated to me by the Secretary for Transport, I, Robert Norman Abram, Chief Automotive Engineer, hereby approve, for the purposes of regulations 62 (2), (3), (4), and (5) of the said regulations, rear and red reflectors of the make and type described in the Schedule hereto:

SCHEDULE

RED reflectors incorporated in tail lamp assemblies manufactured by Hella New Zealand Ltd. or Hella Australia Pty. Ltd., having overall dimensions of 192 mm + 123 mm and containing the following marks:

(i) Hella
(ii) Made in New Zealand (or Australia)
(iii) Reg. Des. No. 68159.

Notice of Intent to Assign Place Names by the New Zealand Geographic Board

PURSUANT to section 12 of the New Zealand Geographic Board Act 1946, notice is hereby given of the intent of the New Zealand Geographic Board to assign the names set out in first column of the Schedule hereto.

Pursuant to section 13 of the said Act, any person objecting to any such proposed name may, at any time within a 3-month period from the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette, give to the Secretary of the Board, care of the Department of Lands and Survey, Private Bag, Wellington, notice in writing of their objection. Plans showing the location of the features may be inspected at the office of the Chief Surveyor for the Department or at the office of the Secretary of the Board.

If no objections are received by the Board within the aforesaid period of 3 months, the Board’s decision as to any of the said proposed names will be final.
