State Forest Land Set Apart as a Dedicated Area—Pukerimu Stream Ecological Area—Rotorua Conservancy

PURSUANT to section 15 of the Forests Act 1949 (as inserted by section 2 of the Forests Amendment Act 1973, and amended by section 5 of the Forests Amendment Act 1976), the Minister of Forests hereby gives notice that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart and dedicated for the purpose of preserving an area of dense to moderately dense mixed podocarp stands including tanekaha and totara in mixture with rimu, kahikatea and matai on easy sites which sets this area apart from all other forests in the Mamaku region.

The area of land so dedicated shall be known as the Pukerimu Stream Ecological Area.

Appointment of the Minister of Internal Affairs to Control and Manage a Reserve and Declaration That the Said Reserve Shall be Subject to the Provisions of the Wildlife Act 1953

Electric Lines Licence

I, William Francis Birch, Minister of Energy, acting pursuant to section 21 of the Electricity Act 1968, hereby licence Newhaven Salmon Ranch Limited, a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Dunedin hereinafter referred to as “the licensee”, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto. This licence is issued subject to the following conditions:

CONDITIONS

1. This licence may be cited as the Newhaven Salmon Ranch Lines Licence 1983.

2. The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by regulation 10 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1976, shall be incorporated herein and shall form part of this licence, except insofar as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence.

3. This licence is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1976, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976, and all regulations made in amendment of or in substitution for any of those regulations, except insofar as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence.

4. The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraph (a) of regulation 15 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1976.

5. This licence shall, come into force on the 1st day of July 1983 and shall continue in force for a period of 21 years from that date unless it is sooner lawfully determined.

SCHEDULE

A line commencing from Newhaven Salmon Ranch being more particularly described as Sections 23, 24, 26, Block VI, Glenomaru Survey District on the north side of Newhaven Road and crossing the road southward to supply 2 salt water pumps located on the banks of the Catlins River.
